Aldi-Personal Navigation Assistant with Integrated GPS Receiver

Hi People,

Have a look at https://www.aldi.co.uk

This looks really good. I've been looking for a system like this for a while and was thinking of getting a TomTom Go 300 or 500.

Do people know if the Aldi machine can do postcode to postcode searches. What do people think of this machine? Has it been on sale before and have you bought it?

Thank you for your time

Dunno about the aldi one but ive just bought an acer n35 with intergrated gps from https://www.ebuyer.co.uk for £199. It uses destinator 3 software and ive only used it for 2/3 weeks but i think its great......and you get a pda!
if i had known then what i know now
  • I think this device is pretty much the same as the Navigon Bluemedia Navigator. Review here. http://www.itreviews.co.uk/h748-navigon-bluemedia-pna-150-review.htm

    And less favourable here http://www.pocket-lint.co.uk/review.php?reviewId=863

There are a few cosmetic differences but overall it looks to be the same.
No reliance should be placed on the above.

Sounds more like a simple pda than a proper GPS navigator.

I got one of the Aldi sat-navs last time they were on offer and my husband was delighted with it. Same ones were in Halfords too at a higher price. I don't know if these latest ones are the same but last time they sold out really quickly.

Aldi sell loads of Medion products and they fly off the shelves. 1a_y_wink.gif
