I think you're winding yourself up.

There's an obvious flaw in your statement. You started it with "I think..." when you quite obviously don't.

Truvelo cameras have never used a visible flash.

Even if this is followed up, you would likely get the option of a speed awareness course if you have not been on one in the past 3 years. They are offered for speeding in the range (speed limit plus 10% plus 2) to (speed limit plus 10% plus 9) so in a 50 zone, 57 - 64

No, he won't get the option. The offence was in Scotland, where there are no courses.

IN what way is the OP an amber gambler? They might be a speeder but that hasn't been confirmed yet.

Amber gambling is the gateway offence of the Driving Offender. It's the first thing they start to do and the last thing they give up. It probably signals a tendency to lots of other crimes too.

If I were a policeman I would just rig a set of traffic lights to be yellow all the time and wait with my notebook. After a few weeks of that, I would have most of the UK's crime under control.

Doubtless they'd all be on here moaning it was unfair and asking how to get out of it, too.

Maybe you don't understand the question. How is the OP an amber gambler when the question isn't about traffic lights?

Because amber gambling is what led the OP to this state of affairs.
