Flashed by this camera - help!
Hi all,
I was flashed facing a grey camera today. I was driving towards it. There were no road markings on my side of the road. Do you think I’ll receive an NIP? It was 100% a white flash.
As I’m a new user, I can’t post a link to the road. But if anyone wanted to Google Maps it, it’s the camera on Gorgie Road/Stenhouse Road, Edinburgh.
Cheers!

Can't see the camera on street view but from your description if it's an old gatso camera you'll be ok. I take it you were speeding at the time.0

Slow down and you wonr ever have to do this again and have all the worrying for a fortnightmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

What's there to worry about if that's the camera?
You're really not very good at logic, are you?
(1) The OP is worried because a camera flashed.
(2) If he knew it wasn't an enforceable camera then he wouldn't be worried.
(3) McKneff rightly suggests that, if he gets in the habit of obeying the rules in future, he won't have to worry about whether or not a camera might (or might not) result in enforcement.
(4) That suggestion holds true for ALL possible cameras, approved or otherwise, so is absolutely factually correct.0 -

Don't worry, I'm absolutely fine when not dealing with stupid.
incidentally, no matter how much you think you're winding me up, I'm sitting here at the moment experimenting with a new Polar strap and a nice steady heart rate of 58bpm, so it ain't working
I just enjoy calling out planks for planks.0 -
