I've had experience with Surfshark and ExpressVPN support on several occasions. They've both always been polite and courteous. However, efficiency and competence amongst personnel can vary.
So, if you don't seem to be getting anywhere with your issue, have cup of tea/coffee/smoothie/any other beverage, then contact again, chances are you will get someone who can deal with it properly.
Mind you, I have a feeling that if your issues are when using Windows, Android, Apple then you should be fine with many support staff. The lesser known operating systems like Linux tend to catch some support staff off guard.0 -
yes i have a good experience with surfshark since past year and they also gives a free trial for 7-days first you must try their trial period
Initially, I signed-up to the 7 day trial on android. It required signing up through google pay. So, if you don't cancel trial within 7 days then the Credit card used when signing up is billed automatically.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use the trial even for 1 minute. Wasn't able to sign-in to surfshark for some reason. So I canceled it straightaway (through google pay).
Could've contacted support I suppose, but was in a bit of rush, so went for their 2 year + 1 month free offer, which has a 30 day money back guarantee.
Note that the surfshark app for linux doesn't work on my system, however, support directed me to using the manual method. It just means a bit more configuring, once complete does pretty much the same as the app.0 -

I'm using an older OS version, so that's probably why it doesn't work on my system.
Also, note surfshark linux app doesn't have kill switch feature. The Windows, Android, apple version of the app has it.
Anyway, I have a feeling not many members on MSE are linux users.
Hence, you are most likely dodging these posts as a meat eater would dodge the pleas of a vegan at a BBQ.0 -
Not pleased at all.
keeps disconnecting on Android. On top of that, 'kill switch' feature dosen't work (even though I have it turned on within the app), thereby exposing my IP address.
edit: I've added surfshark to the phone protected' apps, so it doesn't close down automatically. So far so good. Will keep you posted if this solves it.
Still, surfshark 'help' pages should make users aware. Never had this issue with ExpressVPN.0
