Do any of the established members have personal experience of SurfShark vpn and recommend it ?

Been happily using Nord for last few years but they have stopped accepting PayPal.

Hey, I'm using Surfshark - their good reviews and price made my choice. I can confirm that it unlocks US Netflix and HBO from anywhere, and I never had problems with speed or smth. Talking about downsides, it would be nice to have more locations, but I think they will improve that soon.

Not personally but it does seem to have good reviews. Maybe not for gamers though because of issues on speed drop. source Also expensive (but same rate as Nord) unless you go for the 24-month option.

Doubt that. Tried it yesterday and BBC Iplayer is not available and streaming not brilliant.

Support is good however and had no problem with obtaining refund.

TV players and VPN providers play a cat and mouse game. I currently use CyberGhost and am overseas at the moment. The BBC iPlayer works and has a specific streaming service with CyberGhost, but I cannot get the ITV player to work.

I can watch any UK TV channels via satellite while overseas in Europe, so I don’t know who the BBC/ITV think they are stopping by playing hard to get over ip addresses...

Yes, I remember reading a review that SurfShark lacks locations. Can you tell us what locations in particular it's lacking?
  • Is it just my imagination or are most of the Surfshark advocates single or very low count posters?
