I hope your not expecting a reply from classriot, they haven't been back since september.
Perhaps someone else can reply. Won't be holding my breath though.

they do have a 30-day money back guarantee (same as many other providers), so may give it a try an find out for myself.

Just seen this review on truspilot about surfshark:
I bought it cause it has "shark" in the name

I may be overthinking, asking for surfshark locations and what have you.

Really depends upon what you want a VPN for and why you would want many many locations .Many dont know the reason they want a VPN just see the selling hype .

Do you require a specific location to connect to ?? for a specific reason .

    1040+ servers in 61+ countries.

If the service goes downhill after 30 days, we'll have to kiss the $47.76 subscription good bye.

anyway, not even sure if they will refund within the 30 days if we're not happy with the service. Some reports of friction in refunding.

    guys.
Support wise expressvpn is way better. I've had a few online chat's with surfshark support and they seem sketchy at best. latest one..roll on end of shift, passed on to colleague, who asked 'how can I help you'. When I asked 'can you not see what your collegeu and I've been chatting about', she say's 'something about refund policy'. So why did she ask me 'how may I help you'. Absurd!.

You get what you pay for. Choose a service with decent support.

So she was polite and you think that's poor CS?

You've answered your own question. Politeness and competence are not the same.

I may have been a bit hard on SurfShark. Last night I contacted support about connecting using linux. i.e. Surfshark linux app wasn't playing ball.

The support staff member said try to connect using the manual method. This did the trick.

I've done speed checks, for each of the VPN server's I connect regularly. Must say the speeds are great.

If you are changing VPN's from another provider, make sure you join new provider a few days before the old provider's sub expires. That way you can do speed checks for both providers and compare.

I first did speed check without connecting to VPN, then connecting to SurfShark New York, then ExpressVPN New York. THen compared the three.

I also did tests using the 'single' and 'multi' setting.
  • I'm outside of UK and I used nord vpn for 3 years to connect to UK servers to watch iPlayer. It stopped working towards the end of the contract.

The vpns all seem to do it when there is an update to the apps, but usually come back after the next one.

I decided to give surf shark a go and they have been fine. Only 3 UK servers but plenty around the world.

Contacted support a couple of times and they have been responsive, pleasant and above all helpful

I'm pleased with them and the price was competitive
  • yes i have a good experience with surfshark since past year and they also gives a free trial for 7-days first you must try their trial period
