any cars without infotainment and no screens
Hi
I am looking for suggestions which new cars do not have info-tainment screens or sat nav screens built in. I am fed up with negotiating menus etc just to turn the radio or air con on. I know most do have screens but I am interested if forum members know which makes and models still do not. I am looking at mid range to exec level cars. Not interested in one offs, kit cars or super cars. I know many of those do not have screens.

Nothing wrong with a Sandero ... very good car for the money you pay. (As long as most of your miles are around town or extra-urban ... the small, revvy engine isn't comfortable for mile-munching). The entry level spec doesn't have an infotainment screen, just ye olde style entertainment unit.0 -

You want an executive car without executive toys? One of your desires will have to change.0

Doing everything in a screen saves a lot of cost and weight, so it's not going anywhere.
You'll either need to buy something basic, something old, or embrace the future.
I much prefer real buttons but I get on alright with the touchscreen in mine.0 -

To turn the radio on in my Volvo I press the button on the steering wheel, or I could just say "Play radio 2". The aircon is always on.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I am sure that the air con is still accessed by buttons and knobs on the dash board. What an odd thread.0
