Plus the stuff about adding £60, plus the stuff about Jack Chapman and UKCPM from all the other Jack Chapman threads we sincerely hope you must surely have read over the months!
Look at the one I posted as an example on @Bexon 's thread, and at Chefdave's documents he submitted in a case where he wasn't confident, but he beat the PPC!
Many cases are currently being discontinued. It's likely in most cases IMHO.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update: We won!
Had court hearing yesterday via video link. Gladstones did not attend.
Won off the back of my defence based on inadequate signage and poor lighting. The judge agreed and abuse of process was never discussed so I can't say what his decision would have been here. I got the feeling from his initial opening remarks that he was not going to entertain any "back door" way of getting out of a legit parking fine.
Thanks everyone on here for the help along the way!5 -
well done!
Did you get any of your costs? Time off work
Can you let us know court, judges name, claim number etc?3 -
Very well done. 🥂 A monkey off your back.A detailed court report with court location, Judge's name, court claim number, did the PPC field an advocate, what did they have to say, what did you say, did you get your costs (ordinary and additional) ...... would be very helpful. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I didn’t say very much at all. Just me and the Judge present. He read out the claim, looked through the evidence and just dismissed without further comment from me.Essentially he said they had failed to meet the burden of proof that I would have been aware of the parking signs. Too high, can’t guarantee the area was lit well enough. He really wasn’t happy with them using a google maps image as a “site plan” with free type dots to highlight where the signage was.Thought I was in trouble when he said “here’s a picture of you parked right under a sign” until he followed with “but it appears 8-10 feet off the floor and can’t be certain your head lights will pick it up” 😂
I will provide more details court and judge info when I get the ruling.Thanks5 -
Well done , Ukcpm lose yet again

Well done, brilliant
We don't like UKCPM but have to feel sorry for them for using such an incompetent legal.
