PCN from UKCPM

HI all
Sorry for this but I've read various threads and still not 100% what to do, so some guidance would be really appreciated.
I have received a letter from Trace Debt Recovery for a PCN from UKCPM in March 2019, suggesting that if i don't pay they will take further action etc
This letter has been sent to my company as the registered owner of the car.
I had previous letters that were ignored due to friends advice prior to me reading this thread. Serves me right I know.
I don't have the original letters or windscreen ticket etc.
Any help would be awesome.
Much love!

Submit a SAR to Trace Debt Recovery and UKPCM - see NEBWIE thread post # 2 for information on how to and where to submit SARs.0

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Maybe you will be able to bang them to rights.
UKCPM use the incompetent Gladstones solicitors. Once the stupid threats made by debt collectors finish, as they do, the Gladstones boys step in and you will receive a letter before claim which should prove their claim and ready for you to rebut. This will give you 30 days to respond.
Forms will be included which you ignore
Within their claim you will probably see an amount for £60 that you cannot account for, nor can they.
That's when ABUSE OF PROCESS steps in and you must read this
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6014081/abuse-of-process-district-judge-tells-bwlegal
Your job will be to get a judge to kick gladstones out of court for Abuse of Process and that will the end of that claim0 -
Does it matter that I haven’t ever appealed and the car (and fine) is in my company name?0
-
It isn't s fine! It's an unpaid invoice.
Does your company simply pay all invoices as long as they are correctly addressed to it??
Has the company moved since the parking event?
Has the company address changed in relation to the information held by DVLA as the keeper's address for the vehicle concerned? (Why did they have to track down the keeper,?)0 -

Sorry, you've lost me - My company info hasn't changed in 15 years... ??0 -

They only have you "bang to rights" if they have successfully cleared all those hurdles which the law requires.
Read the stickies to find this out and if you think you have a case, complain to your MP as nine times out of ten these tickets are scams.

Appreciate the response - I've read pretty much everything and still not that clear what my path should be.0 -
Do nothing. There isn't anything you can do yet.
You may (or may not) get a formal Letter Before Claim. That is when you need to respond. As I said though you may never actually get one. The same applies to court papers.
If you get either come back for further advice. Debt collectors letters can be ignored, they are just scary fluff designed to get you to pay up with minimum effort. They are actually completely powerless.
As a point to note your company are not the "registered owner". There is no such thing. I suspect you mean they are the registered keeper. It might sound pedantic but there is a distinction in law between the owner, keeper and registered keeper.0
