I can't find the T&C for the now expired halifax switch offer anymore! My switch to Halifax completes on 1 July. Regarding the £1500 monthly deposit requirement, is this beginning after the switch has completed?
    Thanks

I was going to apply for a Halifax Reward account to get the £50/£85 payout, but the cash payout has now been pulled. When did that happen?

I guess not all banks give an indication as to when the offer will expire?

switch had to start by June 25th. It was very clearly stated
(Reason I know is that there was a hiccup with mine, my own fault, but they honoured the deal.)

  • It's certainly worth calling them to check. I switched on 21st March, have paid in the required amount each month and fulfilled all other T&Cs, including using my card every month (just in case!). I've just called to check that I have met the criteria and when the payment would be made, spending no more than a few minutes on the phone, and was told I hadn't signed up for paperless statements. I advised that I most certainly had and she checked with a different team and, lo and behold, I have! The lady I spoke with said she would email the team and ask for the additional bonus to be paid, so now I wait... Extra bonus is I had forgotten it was for £85 and was expecting to receive £50 :)

My £85 incentive landed yesterday so I have now re-instated the paper statements & correspondence.

A nice easy way to earn that £135. More of the same please... (but not until double Barclay rewards end!)
Hope others who took advantage have received their spondoolies- just intime for the festive season.
