Look and I have not got any picture. But I had it look at by a independent accident assessor and they have said there is no impacked marks on the glass outside so it bot been done by a stone.

I had a crack appear in the windscreen of my six month old car overnight. Nothing there when I put it to bed, and in the morning a big l-shaped crack from the top of the screen. No impact marks either. I was passing by the dealer and popped in. They agreed very strange and got their warranty assessor to come out and take a look. They replaced it under warranty. How much of the car's original warranty is left, and is that a possible route to go down?0

Bonded screens and glass roofs are part of the structural integrity of the vehicles body. They are under compression or tension when the body flex's the bonding agent and the glass itself are designed to take these stresses unfortunately some fail and just crack.0

Cracks on panoramic roofs and windscreens and happen at any time, the most common cause are stone chips, and these cracks can be felt on the outside.. Take a sharp pencil and run it along the line of the crack, if you come across the chip, then I would advise contact your insurance, you should be able to have the panoramic roof replaced without your insurance being affected. But check with your insurance company first.
The second cause is called a stress fracture, this however is not common at all, and happens when the body flexes, and the cracks normally can be felt from the inside of the glass.
If the latter has happened, then that is a manufacturing defect and should be covered by the manufacture's 3 year warranty. But consult your local dealer first for an inspection.0 -

I think you'll find it's not a simple glass claim and is more than likely an at fault damage claim.0 -
As one of the previous posts the panoramic roof may not be covered by your insurer as part of the glass cover. I had a Peugeot 308 SW with panoramic roof and found that if I claimed for a replacement it would cost app £900 and would be covered under my Comprehensive policy and I would loose part of my no claims plus paying the first £300. My insurer added cover at no extra cost apart from a £25 admin fee.0

There is a website for looking up any manufacturer's recalls. Just an outside chance that it might have been a recall that hasn't been followed up. https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-recalls-and-faults0
