Ops sorry everyone. Been on the wine whilst in lockdown. I should have typed Debit Card ... not Direct Debit. Sorry!!Hal17 said:
Whilst I was in Virgin Money opening Issue 16, it asked if I wanted to make a payment and direct debit was available. Nice and simple, all done. I will use SO's going forward along with our issues 13, 14, and 15.Wheres_My_Cashback said:

Use a Direct Debit? How?Hal17 said:Glad I came across these new posts. Decided a few weeks ago to pass on Virgin Issue 16 as it was only 1.5%. Then the interest on some of my other regular savers all went south for the summer and I forgot about this one. Just opened one this afternoon and could use direct debit, never noticed that before.3 -
Direct debits only seem to be available for credit card payments."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

Why, I'm lost now? the OP has had a few vinos (Cheers OP!) and made a typo and as you'll know all Credit Cards can be paid via DDs so no different If you have a Virgin One.colsten said:

What on earth do credit cards have to do with paying into Regular Savers?Wheres_My_Cashback said:

Everyone is clearly infected with the waiting for the next Virgin RS virus, for which there is no known vaccine; though the symptoms disappear quickly once someone reports that it's arrived.3
