Well it was positively tropical this morning here - a whole 5C. It's raining now alas, but I doubt it'll freeze.

Still feel a bit rough but been to work and given OH a list of things to do while he is at home. We had a bit of a bust up at the weekend as he is fed up being in the house all week and wants to do things at the weekend. I am at work all week and have to do housework at the weekend. So it is time to get really tough!!!!

However, he did manage to lose the rabbit, which got picked up by a complete stranger. We are going to collect her tomorrow......

He has also learnt how to switch the heating on/up and I am constantly walking round turning the heating down!

Anyhow enough moaning from me. Keren, have you heard about the job at all yet! Good luck. I had a bit of the same problem a few years ago when I moved and just wanted a job while the kids were little, I kept getting turned down because I was over qualified and would want to move on....

We had snow here this morning but it went fairly quickly but it was cold at work.. I didn't live near anyone famous but my mum went worked with a few peoples dads. She has worked with Robbies dad and Elvis Costellos dad......

IT bods are reimaging loads of computers and have told me that MSN is not standard software so I need the faculty IT managers permission to reinstall it on my machine:eek:. Part of the reimaging thing is that I'll lose administrator rights so I'll not be able to set it up myself:confused:. Is it not enough that my pc at home is throwing a wobbly (I'm hoping it just needs a new wireless adaptor installing), but until that's fixed I have to have access at work?!?

If you are reasonably technically minded - i.e. can read a manual without freaking, you can download pidgin - and follow the instructions here then you don't need admin privs.

I am not as cruel as I sound, he put my hand blender in the dishwasher the other day with the plug still attached....
