It was your post #15:that I was correcting!
Many people come here for advice on ccjs
Maybe you could edit your post to make it correct too! Shame for mse to blame other sites when this misinformation is posted here in an authoritative manner by a MSE board guide/mod!0 -

That alone won't work
As posted, the defendant can do this themselves but must pay a fee (£15 currently),; and it all takes time
If the OP can get the claimant to confirm this to the court today will be the quickest way to get this done0 -
I had my offer of employment today.
It mentions a disclosure and barring check and a CIFAS check.
It does say depending on the role a credit check may be carried out too but so far they have only asked my right to work in UK etc.
Hopefully if the credit check isnt carried out immediately I can get that ccj removed0 -
Quick update for everyone. The registry trust replied with the following
Having checked our records, I can confirm the above judgment is no longer held on the public Register, we received notification from the court this morning the 3rd June 2019 to remove the judgment.
Good news!! :j0 -

If you want the job, accept.
Anything the supplier finds out later will be too late for then to do anything about
