Yeah and it's weekend too. I'm just anxious cus of the job background check will no doubt be done this week0
-
What kind of background check does the job involve?
Have you authorised them to check your credit files?0 -
Not sure it's for complaints department but it's a weekly payment store so probably a credit check?
And not yet, that'll be once the official offer comes which will most likely be tomorrow0 -
You should chase this up as a matter of urgency, don`t rely on Mortimar Clarke to do this for you, the CCJ should not have even appeared on your file for the first 30 days, as that is the period allowed by law, to settle it with no detriment, clearly the gun has been jumped there.
Also bear in mind that you should be able to have the CCJ removed, but the default/late payments that led to the judgement, will still show on your file for the full 6 years.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Speak to the Court about getting this removed with your own evidence it's been paid
But this won't be done immediately
It is the Claimants responsibility to do this but not compulsory for them to do so and some don't bother
Though from what you say, this looks to be the court taking their time to process this.
See if the claimant can tell you when they informed the court and take it from there yourself0 -

Yes you are correct, some normally reliable debt advice sites have the wrong information showing in regard to that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. The .Gov website recomends writing to the court to say youve paid within 30 days, enclosing your proof of payment (or copy there of).I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
