If they haven't replied to your complaint within the 8 weeks mentioned in#5 above then you can go straight to the FOS without further delay

What a nightmare honestly, I’m just going to tell them that this is the situation I’ve checked and seen multiple links to my name it’s crazy going back to 2015 loads of dissolved company’s etc makes no sense in complete shock

If I were you I'd be more worried about this than any problems with my insurance company.

Is it just a case of the same or a similar name? (I think you said it wasn't your address?).

Is it possible you have more CCJs you aren't aware of?

Well here comes the shock of it all !😂

They are refusing to pay for the claim period
    Here we go churchill

Please be advised that we are not prepared to cover your claim. This is because, based upon the evidence currently available to us, we are
Accordingly, we take this opportunity to bring the following to your attention (please note that what follows does not represent an exhaustive list of our concerns, that our enquiries remain ongoing and that we reserve the right to rely on further information and evidence):
    - Within the statement you provided to The Costwold Group, you advised you visited your girlfriend who lives on ** ROAD

I told them (insurance company) on the phone I visited my ‘friend ‘ and yes now she is my girlfriend I did confirm that with the investigator she was a friend at the time

    - The above is inconsistent with what was reported within the first notification of loss call
    - Within your statement you advised us that you don't hold any current directorships. Our searches indicate you are in fact listed as director for multiple companies, including T***** etc Limited where your occupation is listed as MOT tester

^^^ I did mention this to them that it’s not me and have reported it to action fraud prior to this email !!???

    - You provided screenshots from your banking app to show you withdrew money from your bank to purchase this vehicle. Upon review of the transactions, we note (amount) was transferred to your current account from your savings account in three separate transactions, then withdrawn in three separate transactions< Wrong

There’s a cash withdrawal clearly stated 15K and not returned

P.S I DID NOT TELL THEM I PAID VIA BANK TRANSFER I TOLD THEM I ONLY WITHDRAWN A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT IT WAS PAID IN CASH

    - You advised us that you purchased the vehicle for £28,500. We do not accept that these transactions amounting to £45,000 evidence the purchase of the vehicle

^^nothing to do with the vehicle purchase as it was paid in cash ????? And on the receipt stated

    - You reported that when you purchased the vehicle you were only provided with one key and had never had any keys cut. We find it unusual that a vehicle less than one-year-old
Yes unusual I agree but didn’t care about keys as I got 1,500 of the car for a key problem

would only have one key. You later posted this key to us
    - You reported that you purchased the vehicle with 960 miles on the clock and it had just over 1000 miles on the clock when the vehicle was stolen
    - Upon receipt of the only key you ever had for this vehicle, we sought the opinion of an independent expert to obtain the digital data stored within the key
Upon review of the key, the independent expert advised the following: - The fob was last used on 2nd March 2018 at 12:26 pm
    - the mileage logged at that time was 9 miles

^^^^^^^^ LOL THIS IS very unusual as they did not ask me about the fob it self as It never worked correctly due to it being faulty had to use the key to enter sometimes wouldn’t start 😂 was looking into this problem

And the car is s 2018 plate

With 9 miles ? Really clearly wouldn’t they notice something is wrong with the key ? 9 miles 😂

To add to this they are saying because a family members car was stolen in a similar circumstance elsewhere it’s very similar to how mine was stolen

Now do I go to the financial ombudsman ? Or just seek legal advice and pay the 250 a hour fee to rip these guys apart
