The Loan Board

Earlier today I went for a browse on the Loans board and was really shocked by some of the sarcastic, nasty responses to perfectly reasonable posts. I felt I had to defend someone and point out board etiquette. As expected I received a snotty response. I quickly scuttled back to the warmth and love of the DFW board!

I just wanted to say thank you to you lovely folk on here for being so welcoming to newbies and willing to give advice without decending into any nastiness or belittling people for cheap kicks. :A

OMG I just went for a nose and I am shocked.

If I got those sort of replies in my first post I would have crept back in my debt riddled corner.

I know! I posted on "most expensive loan" thread but am not even going to bother to rise to the pathetic comment my post received. Childish! Will definately stick with this board even if I need loan advice!

and from someone who was lovely to us all on face book when the forum was down aswell. very surprised at her. got similar treatment recently when posting on the savings board. home is where the heart is and home is DFW-land!!

I really can't believe how rude some are on the other boards... Had to have a litte look on there after reading this thread.

All I can say is that they obviously have to put others down and attack them when they are vulnerable.... HOW BIG AND BRAVE OF YOU ALL.... There is a word for that... Bullies.... Sados!

i too have just had a look at this board and cannot believe how different it is from here. i wonder how many people go on there for advice and never go back after reading some of the comments i have just seen. Everybody has made mistakes and when somebody realises they have made a mistake they do not need people criticising them at a time when they are vulnerable and are already probably beating themselves up over their situation

It must be wonderful to be so sorted and wise and so far above the lesser mortals like us!

Have just had a look over the wall. It appears some of the people who post on that site are that mythical person I never believed existed, the one who never makes a mistake.
SS go get 'em, but put your suit of armour on mate, you'll need it.
