So this is what I have from my bills. They aren't the easiest to understand...

November 18. 3438 Kwh Day. 2930 kwh Night.
December 18. 2996 kwh Day 9162 kwh night.
February 19. 2824 kwh Day. 10936 kwh night.
April 19. 2699 kwh Day. 10115 kwh night.

    Is that right?

These are consumptions and are saying between Feb 19 and April 19 you used 2699 kwh during the day and 10115 kwh night. Both are very high. The night-time ones are suggesting that you have both the input and the output dials set to max. You must be very warm.

Your bill should show readings rather than the consumptions you have given. Those readings will have the letters A,E or C against them.

As a new user you wont be able to post the bills direct - paint out the your name address and account number. Scan and load on an image site and give us the link.

OK...(really appreciate your help with this...)

Not especially....very odd. Two bedroom flat but literally one room is about 6ft wide by 12ft deep...?

This looks like what you were asking for. Oddly there are two lines for each period...not sure if that is normal?

Yes there should be two lines for each period- one for off peak (ie night) and one for on peak (ie day)

Have you the unit rates and standing charges

    1) Nov 18 41338 to May 19 48072 = 6734 assume night = 1100 / month
    2) Nov 18 29748 to May 19 30998 = 1250 assume day = 200/month

There will be virtually no night (except water heating) during the summer ; summer day will continue as above.

So night is about 7500 a year and day about 2400 - all very normal. My estimate £1000 for night and £450 for day plus standing charge £100 - all plus VAT = £1600 a year.

Your £80 is very light and really should have been £130 so you do owe £500 as a one off payment.

The bottom line of your account should show a debit - is it in the order of £500 ?

Wher did these consumptions above come from, based on the meter readings you give below?

I've managed to save the bill to a host site but can't post it here yet.

Doesnt appear to be any debit. The last line says £130 CR ?

    Joe1987 - I'm struggling here.

Lets look at money - go back over the last bills as above and list the payments made and the bottom line Credit/Debit
