Exes car tax still coming out of my account.

As above, I'm still paying a monthly DD for my exes car I'd like to cancel. How do I go about doing this through the proper channels? If I just stop the DD and inform both her and the DVLA would that be sufficient? I don't really want to leave her driving an untaxed vehicle around unaware.

She didn't specify when it had gone or where to, so the DVLA may not have had the V5 and transferred the ownership yet. I've cancelled the DD in any case so hopefully that's the end of the matter!
