Staff and Patient Parking...but NOT!

Nope.. Are you part of a Trust or Community Partnership (posh name for flogged off until gone bust)
As I said on another post, if you are NHS, get your IG people to have a look at the actual wording of the signage.
If they say it is no good that will really help you.
That might make, facilities / Estates have a rethink, if the Trust's own specialists are saying the signs don't meet GDPR / DPA 18Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA

You've said yourself that you can't always see the wood for the trees at the moment. I know the feeling! However that tends to mean that any written communication with your employer may have been less than crystal clear so far .... Plus is seems to me that landowners (especially employers?) who can cancel PCNs robotically dig their heels in at first ... and then again ... and again. Well, continue to 'help' them to see this situation as it is.
The facts as I see them are as follows: you were off work for 6 months due to an extremely distressing family crisis. On your return to work, you parked in an area of the car park which was marked out as 'parking for patients and staff only'.
As a result of this event, you are now in receipt of copious threatening gobbledygook from debt collection agencies. Why not select some of the nastiest bits and quote them to your employer? And scan the whole damn lot and enclose them with the very clearest of letters.
Say that you have been told that the employer does not own the land and, if that is indeed the case, you would like to know who does as a landowner cancellation is the best and now the only way to end this vexatious and stressful situation. You might point out that, as someone who works in the field of mental health, you are very aware of the value of constructive support and that that is all you are asking for. Insist that they cancel the charge if they are in fact the landowner.
Incidentally, I'd have been terrified of a court appearance, costs etc. prior to joining this forum. However if that were to happen now for a PCN I'd take on board all the advice here and follow it to the letter. And I think I'd feel really quite confident. You'll get the best support here so do not panic. But don't let your employer off the hook. I'm trying to control myself, I'd love to say what I think of 'em. Same must be true for you. But fight back by chilling out and being tenacious.0 -
That's very helpful. Thanks.0

Did you manage to do the Acknowledgement of Service before Monday of this week?
Remember...

Don't let this thing get away from you.0
