  • Well, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, considering she doesn't look like a ticket tout. She's declared the face value as required by ebay.
I guess empty seats are much better than a fan getting to go :T

  • I brought 2 tickets to see wet wet wet in all good faith but am now unable to go. I am selling the tickets on ebay as I can't afford to waste the money I spent on them. I am happy just to get back about what I paid for them and am not looking to make a profit. I have never sold tickets on ebay before and doubt if I ever will again. Genuine people do exist on ebay although I totally agree about the touts who buy loads just to sell.

  • I buy almost all of my tickets live earth, Take That, spice girls etc off ebay. You'll be fine, enjoy the concert, TT are magic.
    nothing.

    Just seen this person http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-Take-That-Tickets-7th-Dec-O2-Arena_W0QQitemZ330189511030QQihZ014QQcategoryZ1306QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
selling tickets not far from me and looking to get some to take my mum to for a bday treat.

I know I am paying over the odds for them but will the seats in this part of the O2 arena be any good? Its in front of the stage but at the very back.

Also if I bought them are there any security measures in place that may mean when we turn up we wont be allowed to go in? I wouldnt want to buy something then find they are cancelled tickets (ive heard this can happen).

    Thanks for any advice!

This person has 100% feedback , you will be fine, although you won't get them for much less than £75 each. I'm in bath and may bid against you now.....

    Cheers.
    nothing.

You are a tout. If you were not looking to make a profit you'd have made them buy it now at face value, but I doubt you have as you're hoping for profit.

The correct method is to return the tickets to where you got them for a full refund.

Auction history shows more tickets have been sold in the past. They are doing this to make money. The clothes they sell are most likely bought cheap to sell on to make a profit too.

Can I put my sarcasm hat on? can I?

Oooohh.... 4 tickets in 3 months... THEY MUST BE A TOUT!

    I love this hat. :T

God forbid anyone should make any money on ebay - we should all sell at cost, or better yet, make a loss.

P.S. Funny, though, don't you think, that all the clothes she's sold are size 12 or 14?

  • Nothing wrong with making a profit. Anyone who thinks profit is bad needs to join the real world. I just ate an apple; I daresay the shop that sold it to me made a profit out of that transaction. I bought my house for £99k ten years ago; now it's worth circa £600k. If I sold it, I would make a profit - that's the world we live in.

If the previous posters object so strongly to people making a profit then why not join a commune and live by bartering instead?

Also, the mis-informed people on here saying that Take That tickets can be returned to the point of sale for a refund really have no clue. Metro Radio Arena's on-line sales are all through Ticketmaster so no returns possible there then.

I've never managed to get ticketmaster, seetickets or anyone else to refund tickets for gigs I can't go to. Is this a new scheme they have going?
  • Is it just me, but when I clicked on link it took me to an auction for some Victoria Beckham perfume LOL

I can't see the auction so I can't comment on the seller.

Personally I can't see the problem of selling tickets for profit on ebay.

Hows it different to buying a Nintendo Wii for £180 & selling it for £300?

That's what ebay is all about - as well as people selling things they dont want anymore, people buy things to sell at a profit be it tickets, games console, clothes, anything!!

Also unless it has recently changed you cannot return tickets to Ticketmaster.

    Cheers

    Dan
