Yes, it's about three weeks (possibly longer) since I applied and all I've heard from them is a text about 10 days ago saying that ther're very busy at the moment and will be in touch with me as soon as possible.......fenwick458 said:HSBC are even slower than normal at the minute, people I know are waiting 3 weeks and still not heard anything

I have been messaged by HSBC that my complaint has been raised as an official complaint. Don't know if it will lead to anything, but if I hear any more I'll post here.0

I have received another email from HSBC today, acknowledging their woeful performance and they have paid me £50. So that's a line drawn under my, very brief, relationship with them (or it will be when my account transfers on 19th).0
