What does Google Street View show, when you use the little arrow to change the date to look at the older images of signs? Where was this exactly?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There aren't any google street view images of the site, it's in a car park on the business park I work on.
Can't post links as I'm a newbie on the forum. I have a photo of the sign here I took 10 minutes ago.0 -

The 3 hours looks like an added sticker, and that sign says the 'tariff' only applies to drivers 'remaining parked', and that 2 hours parking periods are 'allowed'.
Also, it's only sixty quid, so why worry? We see 99% wins when cases are defended, so if yours gets to that stage you have every chance and only a £60 risk plus £50 court fees.
How the HECK have they dressed up £60 as £245, have you seen the claim form?
Get the scam set aside, it's the principal of the thing, no paying them or consent.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon,
appreciate you taking the time to reply.
I'm not sure what you mean - what's the argument I'd be using on the 3 hour thing? Their counter argument is going to be that I was parked there for longer than 2 hours and even if I returned it would not matter?
Regarding the 60 quid thing - why worry? what do you mean? I'm worrying as I need the CCJ removed otherwise I'm not likely to get a remortgage approved.
I'm all for getting it set aside I just need to know I'd be using as my legal defense.
So the total charge is 60 pounds (there's two alleged "tickets") which is 120. Not sure what the extra 25 is for.
Also, is it worth nothing - the stickers they leave on people's cars in the carpark clearly state "this is not a parking charge" on them. I can provide photo evidence of this - is there any legal defense based on that?
Many thanks0 -
I mean:
- get it set aside
- then why worry about the claim resurrecting, as it's only sixty quid in play! You have a defence and are VERY unlikely to lose, but if you did, it's sixty quid and STILL no CCJ.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

are you saying that I have a good chance of getting it set aside? based on what argument?
that's the question I'm asking
I'd have to have a strong case for having it set aside which at the moment I don't think I do is the point I'm making - sorry if I'm not making sense!
What makes you think I'm very unlikely to lose?0 -
We ALWAYS ALWAYS see PPC claims set aside!
The only one where it didn't happen was where the Judge erred, by saying the claim was sent to the right address, but the OP can prove it wasn't.
We see hundreds every year and (except for that error) ALWAYS set aside.
Search the forum for set aside satisfy judge
...and change the ADVANCED search to SHOW POSTS.
It will reveal the very simple things that a Judge will want to be satisfied about.
The DJ will set it aside if they are satisfied and find as fact that the claim was not served and also believe that you have reasonable prospects of successfully defending it, which you do.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've just spoken to a Solicitor and he seems to think I don't have enough of a case for getting it set aside on the address thing alone.
I'm a bit lost here
