I think the judge said I'd have to pay their court fees if I defended and lost but I may have misunderstood what he said.
That's standard for any losing defendant.

Fees in the small claims court are limited.

    £25 filing fee
    £25 hearing fee
    £50 legal costs

    That's about it.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well today I had an absolutely amazing order for delivery of goods from my local court.

    I've attached the letter.

I don't even know what to say anymore. It's kind of funny in a way were it not the fact that it's coming from the courts.

They're actually harassing me now. The letter makes absolutely no sense.

I've contacted the court and this was an error.

There was a mess up at the local court and they served me a CCJ for someone else with the claim number for MY last CCJ on, I was losing my mind because the details on it made absolutely no sense (something about a car which had been hired and not returned or something).

I clarified this with the court and they corrected it.

They've literally just sent me documents confirming the correction with notices saying they'd both been set aside.

Just to confirm that what this document says here is in correct with what everyone's said prior to today's posts? (I don't have to respond until/if they re-serve the notices?).

"Upon the court being satisfied" ... that's strange wording. IS the court satisfied? Do they still need to be satisfied (that you weren't living at that address)?

Unless you have edited it the court order you have hosted looks corrupted

Ask the court to look at it and resend the complete version of it to you

I'm assuming yes as they've been set aside.
