Glad I'm not the only one who's just done essentials this week. The week seems to have been taken up by getting my "paperwork " together for the tender to apply for another 2yr uni contract. You'd think it would be easy as I've done it twice before but I'd forgotten that my company accounts have to be submitted so have spent ages wrestling with Excel. At least it will be easy when I get time to do my tax return.

    Have finished a report
Been to the gym lots tho seem no slinkier
Done loads of gardening, spurred on by 4 friends coming to dinner tomorrow and hoping it looks good
Mega blitz of kitchen and lounge/diner by Mr N and I this eve for the same reason
Done some of my online course tho still behind
Kept up with clothes and dish washing
    Went to Asd@ today

Pigpen have you tried the old trick of putting nail varnish in your ring to make it smaller?

Welcome to newbies and have a good weekend everyone

It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.

    Dishes put away.
List perused to decide what to do first LOL

Will shower and have breakfast and then may tackle the supermarket to get it out of the way.

    Back later for progress report.

    Have a good day all

PIGPEN I have seen on amaz0n that you can buy a ring size adjuster, I just typed it in and one came up from eiito.
I am sure there will be more makes/brands too. It's like like a plastic spiral thing that goes round your ring.

I am going to give level one for all rooms ago, I moved in last Thursday and have just been shoving things in cupboards so a clean and a sort out is in order. The kids are off for a half term :D so they can help.

Finally got to register dancepops. It was touch and go as their was a problem with the paperwork. After the appointment I thought I had walked in something sticky. I hadn’t, the sole of my trainer had come undone and was flapping around. I had to limp to the nearest shoe shop and buy new ones.

Basics done over the last few days.

I plan to paint a couple of walls and spring clean the house in case anyone come back to our home after the funeral.
House always looks worse when the sun shines.

Dancegran is anemic and has to have tests. It is never ending.

dancemum, superglue the flap of the trainer back on to it!! if nothing else you can then use them for gardening or something similar if it doesn't work.

I am going to turf out my 'spare' wardrobe for all my old working clothes, I'll keep a few 'just in case' I return to an office and need office type clothes but the rest can go~~ more for the car boot heap

    I have hoovered downstairs

Must check weather forcast for Sunday to see if it is car booting weather ie no rain it puts off the punters.....................

    Have a good day

    Morning

Hugs to dancemum xx And lots of Roundtuit love :heartsmil for anyone else having a tough time xx

To all of you saying you only managed the dailies all week: forget the :o you should be :). I :T you. The only things I managed to do every day were make my bed and feed the birds. And I'm not going to beat myself up about it (what's done is done - or what's not done is not done in this case) - and start where I am.

Spending time after work with my Dad was more important that washing the dishes; managing spoons so there were some left for folk who phoned me for help at work on Friday was more important than hoovering the stairs. Life is a whole lot of choices and sometimes there is more life going on than hours/ spoons to fit it all in.

Having said that I don't want to live in a tip / hovel so I will spend the weekend playing catch up. Maybe I really ought to change my name to Weekend Willi! I don't suppose I will ever be a :A flylady but one day CHAOS will be history and you'll all be invited round for coffee and cake :D

Have a lovely day / weekend ladies

    Watered the peace lily
    Changed Sweetie's water

    aww Dancemum (((hugs))).

Off to visit DD later but first I need to tackle some jobs.

Very first job is to clean up feathers - their late owner has already been evicted.

I haven't showered yet as I plan to garden. It is truly desperate.

    ((Hugs)) dancemum.
Round - you are a tonic and an inspiration :D
Not a brilliant morning here. DH and I are having drawn out words. My weekend allotment plans have been scuppered for both today and tomorrow. He doesn't grasp that just because I work one day a week less than him that does not give me an extra 48 free hours in a week to do all the chores and extra running around. I truly think that the allotment is going to have to give.
I’m waiting for an online shop to arrive. Ironically only because I wasn’t going to have time to go to town to do a shop this morning and he was going to be in to receive it. Stupid me.
Rant over. :o Onwards and upwards ladies.
