Aw shucks :o thank you Fayolle xx

My answer to any problems with the opposite sex is 'get rid and get a budgie' - but I've been a confirmed bacheloress for 22 years so I'm the last person anyone should listen to :D

Second load of washing hung out
Third load washed and hung out
    Wrote mini shopping list
Popped to the village C00P :D (novelty hasn't worn off yet)
Ate sandwich and cream cake(s:D yes I'm a pig)) which fell into my shopping basket nom nom.
Went to Farm Shop and had a coffee with a fed up friend - bought her a cup of tea and a slice of cake (Worzel Gummidge's favourite :D), For some reason I wasn't hungry ;)

Home again and watching two pigeons necking on the bungalow roof opposite. oh I say - get a room!!!!

    Hi all,

Progress report from first day of long weekend...

2 loads of washing done and dried on line
Bedding stripped washed and fresh on
    Supermarket shop done.
Missing part of furniture collected from Ikea.... grrrrr
2 wheelie bins jet washed and disinfected as they were getting stinky... nice job, not!
Stuck house numbers on my clean bins as new neighbour keeps taking wrong ones and then putting the wrong stuff in them!
    DH mowed the lawns
Had second shower after all that and am now sitting debating whether I have the energy to move again!

Quite a productive day, still zillions of jobs on the weekend list though. But I am not going to think about it tonight, supper, glass of wine and a sit in front of the TV for me!

    Have a good evening all.

PIGPEN I have seen on amaz0n that you can buy a ring size adjuster, I just typed it in and one came up from eiito..
I've had those on for the last 10 months and just had my ring resized.. they were horrible.. discoloured really quickly and looked and felt horrible.. but thank you :heart:

Pigpen have you tried the old trick of putting nail varnish in your ring to make it smaller?

I don't think that would be approved of by the jeweller next time it goes in to be cleaned lol.. it's actually been a lot better since I swapped then around .. thank you xx

OH's dad was here today.. last swimming lesson of this half term, need to pay for next term.. my hands are really itchy again.. my hayfever has been a nightmare this week which means I have done next to nothing due to medication making me dopey.

I'm really tired.. my house is a bear pit and I have absolutely no energy or motivation to clean it.

A very large spider frightened DS2 tonight. So we have moved the small sofa. Dysoned 2x canisters full from where it had been.
    Washed the radiator
Clean a wii fit board that was found
    Dusted the tv stand
DH sanded the wall ready to paint it tomorrow hopefully before DS2 gets up.
    Spider has not been found
    Back lawn cut
    Shredding up to date

    Earlier
Visited the crem so DH could practice the route (he doesn’t drive much)and to show DS2 what it looks like. We saw a dead rabbit. DS2 doesn’t want to attend the funeral but has agreed to go after school to the wake.

    Half a dishcloth knitted
2 tops and a dress purchased from outlet village as I’m now fat
    DH bought some black shoes
    DS2 behaved
    Bathroom cleaned

Basic tidy around yesterday, shoes on racks, coats on hooks, dishes done, tea cooked. I watched the big Weekender on iPlayer. I'm going today with my daughter.

Lots of rain today It's meant to stop at 11am so I'll wait till then to set off as I am in walking distance.
Good job I bought wellys for us both :D

My DS1 was sick in the bathroom last night so I was up at 2am cleaned the toilet/floor/walls/tiles and everything else that could be cleaned (including door handles and flush :o)

Dd2 has woken up unwell. DS1 seems better and has had breakfast. DD is awake, excited. Time for showers I think.

Lozzy, hope your DS is better this morning. Hugs for Dancemum.

Morning all. DH and I had a whole day out together yesterday so nothing got done but nothing got messier either. The dogs have been on their holibobs since Friday and will not be home till tomorrow.

It's pouring with rain here today so gardening plans are scuppered but the weeds are loving it. I'll probably pop into town which I don't really like doing but I need a new hairdryer and a few other bits.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning

Woke up, wanted a cup of tea, got up, looked at clock …. 6.35am!! Thought about getting back into bed, but the cup of tea won :D I've been sat catching up with fb. Last night I put some photos on of me aged 24ish - a long, long time ago... lots of complimentary comments received :)

I've made my bed and unpacked DS's overnight bag. Hungry now, so I'm going to set WM swishing then have breakfast. It was tipping down here when I got up - so I'll put the country saying 'rain before 7, fine before 11' to the test. I can always drape washing on the airer if it doesn't fair up :D

Only plans for today are lunch with Dad, DS and GF at 12.30, and a taxi run to pick up friends returning from a weekend away at some point this evening. Plenty of time to flutter and bimble before I flump (I love that word) and watch F1 GP highlights tonight - what's the betting friends want picking up right in the middle of the race :( Heyho - such is life :)

    Have a lovely Sunday peeps

Pedicure and manicure done and I'm dressed. Bed is made and first of two loads is in the machine. Think I'll also wash the dogs beds while they're away. Bit of paperwork sorted.
