Some paperwork sorted here too.
Money shuffled in bank accounts and budget for June done as have just been paid
Had a soak in the bath as my back was hurting after yesterday, feeling better now.
Load of smalls washed and out on airer in garden. Not raining here yet but it’s looking grey so I want to be able to get the washing in quickly if it does start.
Going to do an hour in the garden now, want to tidy the pots and plant some petunias out. DH will do some weeding and cutting back while I do that.
Will then try to finish the garage and likely to need to do a tip run so DH will do that later on or tomorrow.
Righto, back to it again! Back later for a progress report. Definitely helps me to post a progress report so I hope I am not boring you all senseless!
Have a good day all0 -

Ionafan, I skipped past your post earlier in the week when you reported you'd left Rosy alone for five hours and arrived back to find everything calm - wow! Well done! We're just at the start of that stage of Layla's training and I dream of five hours! Well done on getting the Giftaid claim done.
Glad to hear your DS has been coping, Dancemum. (((Hugs)))
Kazwookie, honestly, it sounds as though if it isn't nailed down in your house it'll be in a car boot! Well done on the pile of clothes and £££ this morning.
Morribunds trip done this morning. Slight miscalculation because I thought the tills opened at 10.30 and I was wrong. Car filled filled up with petrol - I'd no idea we were so low and I need to be somewhere this evening and won't be returning until after 10.00 pm so running out of petrol would not have been fun. Rather a lot of meals cooked and served for guests which is unuusal for me, but they're such lovely people it's a real pleasure to sit down and eat with them. Coffee decluttered with a friend who's over from France for a week, which was a real pleasure, and laundry fairly up to date. Almost, very sort of, caught up.Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.0 -
Rain stopped play in garden so came inside to carry on....
Prepped pots and veg for tonight
Baked scones
Cleaned en suite and bathroom
Vac of top floor and stairs
Just having a cuppa and then will carry on.
Going to be a busy week next week so trying to get ahead, I really wanted to fly to save me time on the weekends, hasn’t worked this week but I am tackling some jobs that I have been meaning to do for a while so I guess it’s all progress and I am noticing that rooms seem to be staying tidy for longer so that pleases me.
Right, off we go again!0 -

HB, my OH tells me that as well, that I will sell anything that is not nailed down!

I've had a heck of a week, and next week looks similar.
I've hoovered hall, lounge, bedroom.
Dusted lounge and hall.
Stripped beds and washing on the line (I'm working on the basis that the path's dry so my washing will dry too, but it is really muggy here)
Bathroom done, powder vim = happiness
I have a walk in shower with a pump on the drain as there was no way to get enough drop on the drain levels. It was getting a bit smelly so I've cleaned it with bleach and soda crystals, and cleaned the cover. Looks and smells lovely now.
Kitchen floor swept and mopped
Hoovered out the door threshers front and back, and the little storm porch.
Bought a new beater/brushroll for my hoover last week, i'm really enjoying the improved performance.
Kitchen and laundry are up to date.
Heading into the new week...A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks0 -
I've had a bit of a me day. Flying wise, I've emptied the bathroom bin and the dogs beds are currently in the machine, lots of dirt coming off them too.
I went into town and along with stocking up on essentials and buying a new hairdryer, I also bought myself a summer weight coat, some trainers, a new belt and a denim skirt.
Came home for a while then went to look round an open garden and bumped into friends there too which was nice. After we'd put the world to rights, I bought a lovely iced Victoria sponge, some jam and some honey. On the way home I stopped at the garden centre for a cuppa and sausage roll and some much needed compost.
Since getting back I have repaired some sandals and now have gluey fingers. Found the sandals while sorting and cleaning the shoe shelves this morning. Nearly forgot about that bit of flying.
Have now also put rubbish out for collection tomorrow and done a very quick hoover through. DH will be home soon so that's it for me today.
See you all on the next thread.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Vac and dusted living room dining room and conservatory and bottom flight of stairs
S/s kitchen
Cleaned downstairs loo
Emptied all bins
Finished planting petunias
Still have garage to finish tomorrow and tip run but DH should do most of that, I am planning a little me time tomorrow but will still do daily stuff so that house stays tidy.
Feel like I managed to get ahead for the new week anyway. Just going to cook supper and then relax with a glass of wine. Such a lovely feeling that there is no work tomorrow!:j:j:j
Have a nice evening all and see you on the new thread.0 -
