It’s Friday!!! With apologies to those of you who might have to work on the weekend!

No children’s rooms here and bedding changed in spare room when we had guests a couple of weeks ago so today I plan to do daily stuff and paid stuff and then like Fayolle I will list all the zillion outside jobs that need doing. Garage is in need of a real sort out so I think will have to tackle that on the weekend.

Right, breakfast first and then get to it!

    Have a good day all
  • Morning all,

    Morning.
No exams here today then half term next week so relative calm in the Fayolle household last night.
Work today then I’m off until next Wednesday.
The spare room has ground to a halt while we wait for various workmen to arrive so no flying there for me. I will prise DD off her bed at some point over the next day or so to get her bedding changed.
Off to Mr T now on my way into work as there is very little milk left for a coffee when I get in. And no one else will have thought of it.
    (Hugs) all round. X

(((Hugs))) for Dancemum and Mrs MP.

Trying to keep up, and catch up between appointments and commitments. Not succeeding, but at least I'm giving it my best shot.

Hob sparkled, kettle and toaster sparkled
    Countertops washed
    1 drawer straightened
    DW run and unloaded
    Kitchen floor swept and washed
    Ground floor vacuummed

Long dog walk with dogsitter and Layla that Layla has decided is terrifying; supposed to save me problems and it's just creating more at the moment *sigh*

Still need to change two beds and give the shower room a clean. Should be do-able. Needs to look a bit decent as I'm hosting a meeting here tonight unless they cancel at the last minute again. If they do I'll have a sense of humour failing.
    Better is good enough.
Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.

Dailies done, although not that well as it has been bonkers work wise, oh well at least I now have 3 days to catch up. Humongous list made for weekend. Not sure if it’s possible to do it all but need to at least try as we have a busy few weeks coming up and we need to be organised.

Friday evening me time first I think. DH gone to get takeaway as cant be bothered to cook, so food, a glass of something and then flump for a couple of hours ready to hit the list tomorrow!

    Have a nice evening all

    Evening all

Another one here who's only done dailies since Tuesday :o It has been a busy week.
Downstairs the main rooms are tidy and OK-clean.
Utility is reasonable apart from a large dead TV. DH cannot bring himself to decided its fate, and I can't lift it on my own.
    Bathroom is tidy and OK-clean.
Our bedroom is tidy on my side and I have just put clean bedding on.
Washing basket is almost empty (not a full load in it).
Ironing pile now has 4 items in it which I [STRIKE]hope[/STRIKE] intend to clear later this evening.
The lawn got mown a few days ago and the veg beds and pots are well watered (by me - rain has been non-existent all week until we had a sharp shower at about 6.00 this evening) and thriving :D

The Gift Aid claim is finished :j:j:j
I now have about 60 letters to write (but not today or tomorrow, and probably not even next week).

I went out with a friend at 10.45 this morning and didn't get home until 2.30. But I took Rosie, and we all went for a walk up the hill by the rock houses (where of course we had rock cakes with our coffee). I let Rosie off the lead and she promptly disappeared into the gorse and bracken and didn't come back until 20 mins later, absolutely exhausted - obviously some rabbits had been giving her the run-around big time!

I have been trying to return the phonecalls made by another of my friends (the one whose husband died 2 years ago), but each time her mobile has been engaged, so I'm giving up until she rings again. I've told her that my mobile is almost always switched to silent and she must ring the landline, however DH is getting very bad about passing on messages :(

Rosie would love another walk before bedtime, so I will take her up the lane to the woods and watch the sun set.

(((Hugs))) to all in need xxx

Happy Bank Holiday weekend / half term to all!

Well, we went out for our walk, but Rosie stopped about 200 yards from home and refused to go any further, so we turned round and came back!

I have cleared the ironing pile and put away the clean washing :D

Now to tackle the piles of paper in my study...
