  • Just got home to a letter again from zzps.....

"We wrote to you previously about this pcn, and according to us this debt remains unpaid.

Our next course of action is to pass this account to QDR Solicitors Limited. We would prefer to get the bottom of this with you, without the need to use lawyers. However, we are duty bound to advise you that if this does get passed to QDR Solicitors Limited, the balance owing could increase as a result of court action.

If this does remain unpaid in the event of legal action taking place, court fees and solicitors costs, along with statutory interest, would be added to the amount owed. The legal process is not simple and if you need advice, places where this can be sought are on the reverse of this letter.

It is in YOUR interest to either get in touch or pay this account and we again invite you to do so within seven days of recieving this letter; if the account progresses to our solicitors, we will not be able to help you.

    Yours sincerely

Why have you told us about this bog standard debt collectors letter?

Post #4 of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with it.

But you already know that. Re-read post #43 above.
  • Because the thread says not to ignore letters of court. Would rather make sure this is a standard letter than a court letter and unless I have written the letter I may have had questions about details within it. Better safe than sorry but that's my opinion

just as long as you realise that nobody here cares about debt collector letters or their contents , especially not from ZZPS , seen them all a million times before

proper letters before court action, or actual court action letters = YES

    anything else = NO
  • Update:

I have today received an email from Sytner to conclude that they have not given out my details to CMS in anyway. There is detail in the email if needed but as above they have stated that with the electronic registration they would not have been the registered keeper as of the 27th when the car was taxed with them in dealership. As I have in writing that the DVLA have not given my details and Sytner have not given them wither what is my next move?

Ask the PPC, via a SAR, from where your personal details were accessed.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Asks me to input my name and postcode thereby confirming my identity. Should I do this?
