    Hi all

I work P/T and get UC..  I put half my wage into my personal pension each month, I notify UC each month about this yet, they do not seem to understand I am allowed to do this and base my UC on the entire monthly wage (rather than half).

I asked the DM to look into this in April and to date they are still looking - I have also made a complaint to DWP about this - they are meant to respond within 15 working days - however today is day 32 and still heard nothing, so I have raised a second complaint about it and a complaint that my original complaint hasn't been responded to.

Does anyone know how long it takes the DM to actually read their own legislation and come to a decision? today is day 89 since I was told a DM was looking into it and heard nothing since?

I have read all the posts in here and copied and pasted what your all suggesting but its on deaf ears, can anyone else offer any further advice or what I can do next?

    Thanks
    D
Could you pay from salary in your workplace pension instead?

This would deduct the pension contributions automatically with less hassle.

(Then do periodic partial transfers into your personal pension if you wish)

Have you verified this by talking to your payroll department?
Many companies allow you to do it but do not properly document it in there company handbook.

Update, I got referred for a MR about 10 das ago and today have been offered an upload link.

I need to upload 2 docs (May and June contributions), does anyone know if the link will let me upload 2 attachments?  Thanks

Also should I make July contribution now and also upload for that month (my period is 7th - 6th) or wait and hope they give me the link every month?
    I think....

It won't hurt to also upload July's statement if you have already made your contribution for this month, and yes, once sorted, you will need to provide evidence every month.

PDF24 is good for that, on a computer.

You can upload multiple files, You keep uploading via the upload/file button then you just hit the link below to say you have finished.

    Did ours last night.
  • Dear TMel42 it is a few years later and first I would like to thank you for your tenacity in fighting them all the way and as a carer myself I understand at what cost that must have been. I find it shocking how the lower tribunal made such an error and I am trying to find your tribunal case as it must be in the public domain. Can anyone help me with the reference of this tribunal case please.
