OS Daily Sunday 18th Nov 07

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Sunday 18th November 2007. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Hard to believe that there was not post this morning yet.

Morning to you all. I am off to walk the dog before the next shower and then we are off to church.
Kids have band practice today after (they play guitars and sing and stuff).
The n we are having my parents up for Sunday late dinner.
NFL this evening, so all in all should be a nice day.

Cheers.

Hi N9eav & all to follow,

I couldn't believe it either so I decided to wait. Feel really good today. Made Benny his dog food this morning & an apricot loaf. Did some more knitting :p and re-planted more grass in the bare patches hoping it will take off. I watered as well but it's looking a bit overcast so hoping for some tonight.

DD got back safely from her weekend away. XDIL & DGS are going to play group tomorrow so will get in a do a few things in peace. DH home tomorrow and we plan on shopping at night.

N9eav Enjoy your day. It sounds very relaxing.

Hope you all have a great day & the weather is a bit warmer. :p Byeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Check me out, 3rd post! Yes, I am up for a work.

Had dreadful cramps again last night. What the hell is this illness - I feel absolutely fine now??? I had to resort to taking one of OHs IBS tablets as I was just in pure agony.

So, needless to say I am quite tired. Not too sure what to expect today - hope it will be interesting and that I won't be kicking my heels all day.

Dinner will be roast at OHs friends house

    Have a good one

  • morning everyone!
gosh its been a while since i've posted, not even managed much lurking lately either!! so hugs to all as needed.
quite a lazy day today....dh is at work he started at 2am and finishes at 10am then he'll be getting a few hours sleep, then we will eat(potatoes, scrambled egg with lardons and beans) before we take dd1 to a birthday party.i am shamefully going to stay in my jammies until we have to get ready for the party!!!
tea will be chinese chicken drumsticks from the freezer(trying to empty before xmas) with jacket potatoes.

had one success im majorly chuffed with........i have managed to get dd2(2.5) off of dummies! yay!! she was soooooooo dependant on it i was dreading it but it was soooooo easy!

right i've got a few things to do and dd2 is telling me she's 'poo, pooeed mummy change it'!! charming! see you all later.
  • Good morning everyone:D

Dull and very overcast here, but at least it's dry, and not as cold as it has been. Still not the weather to tempt you out in the garden though, and mine still needs a fair bit of tidying.:o

Got a nice piece of lamb for dinner today, so the full roast later. And I've got a recipe for butternut squash soup I'll be making later. Or as my friend calls it butternut pumpkin. :p Thanks :A Glad you're feeling good today Aussie.

I've also just spied the ironing pile which is starting to grow again, so that's another job for today.

First though is to go and get dressed. I have showered, but I don't think fluffy bathrobe is the correct attire for Church, no matter how pretty the colour:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Enjoy the day,

    CMx
