  • Morning ladies,

DD is at grandmas today, DS has a birthday party later and DH is hungover :rotfl:

I am in bed with a cuppa, when I've done this post I will start tidying our bedroom. Plenty of little jobs to do today, but I achieved a lot yesterday including a HUGE bag of stuff taken to the chazza. DH is off work tomorrow so he will have a list to be cracking on with.

Duck legs for dinner with roasties and spinach. Manic week at work ahead but then we have half term :T

    Have lovely days all xx
  • Well, after deep cleaning my vac I got roped in to clean someone else's! After the filters had dried I reassembled it and tested it on my lounge floor. Success. So much success in fact that I got about a mug full of fine dust off my floor which I thought was clean. She's chuffed, I'm peeved! I know it's not filters or clogs as it's not 2 mins since I gave my vac some love, so i've bought a new brush roll online and hoping it does the job. Telling Dad about it later he recalled that you used to be able to take a brush roll in for re-bristling.
A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks

    Morning

The sun is shining here after a misty start. First load of washing is pegged out, second load is swishing. Airer bearing yesterday's offering is stood out in the yard taking in the rays. That just leaves a shirt and a hoodie to be washed :T

I've fed the birds and rinsed and recycled 14 cans and 6 plastic bottles - DS has cleared out either his car or his bedroom :D

DS and my Dad went off at 6.45am for the kart racing. GF is upstairs getting ready to be picked up by DS's dad in 15 minutes to go and cheer on DS. I'm staying home today.... to flutter :D

Pots next. Have a good day everyone

All dry washing from yesterday is away, we're fed and dressed. Next is to wash up.

    Morning all.

So much for good intentions yesterday! I had a sleep and then sat reading and watched a bit of TV for the rest of the evening. I am a BadCat! :( So today....

First load of washing done and out, second load swishing, bedding stripped and ready to go in next!
DH has been called to do some work so has shut himself in to the study, so now I don’t have my housework helper I need to get on for a couple of hours. Will make a start on all the jobs I didn’t get to this week and report back later on how I got on! :D .... here goes!

Bye for now, have a good day all.

Since the forecast is for rain later I was out in my nightie pegging out washing at 7:30. Sheets mainly; now dry. Last night's ironing is on the maiden in a sunny window to air and I've a bit more to iron.
Also need to nip into town. Full day at work tomorrow so need to prep for that, too.
YS beef joint thawing in fridge for later.

Hope all are well. Hope you all have a good day.

waved off DS's GF well supplied with water/ soft drinks for the day
then WUDUPA x 1 bowl full of pots
wiped down draining board, work top & kettle
    reloaded bowl
(all whilst singing along to The Very Best of Cat Stevens :D)
    pegged out second WM load
guesstimated that there is enough line left
so set WM swishing with shirt and hoodie (not :money: but oh the joy of having an empty space instead of a wash pile :T)
moved airer back in to the sun

Now having 5 minutes and a soft drink.

Ah the satisfaction of an empty wash basket!
I have brought in all the washing and ironed it, so while I don't have an empty wash basket I do have no ironing pile!
DW emptied - it wasn't full so all the oven racking went in.

Update from me, WM x3 currently swishing, basket not empty here but getting there! Top floor stairs and landing vac done, scrubbed bathroom and en suite, tidied living room,, quick cuppa now then back up to put fresh bedding on, clean bedroom and vac bottom stairs. DH has finished work and mowed the lawn and tidied the garden so all quite productive in the BadCat house!

Right, cuppa slurped, onwards we go!
