Is it worth me getting mobile phone insurance for my phone?

Why do you bother to ask then? Nobody has supported your preferred option, but come what may you bat other highly valid points away.0

Surely buying a new handset is such a simple and quick thing to do it's not really worth buying a 'spare' handset - most places do next day delivery, or you can just pop into your local phone shop and pick one up - only takes a couple of minutes to buy a sim free phone at most shops as there is no contract to sort out0

Only cost me £150.
I could still sell the device for £100 in 2 years time.

Accidents and theft are a part of like whether you like it or not or else insurance would't exist. :rotfl:
Insurance companies actually exist to make a profit out of people like you; though in your particular case they may lose out because you decide to donate even more to buying a redundant phone. Of course, since you're so careless and breakages are inevtitable you could go for broke and do both.0 -
regarding option 2.
What if you don't like the phone? Now you have 2!
What if the phone is really poor or unreliable?0 -

Andy,
I think I've made my mind up after some of the replies on here.
1. You can't just go into a shop and pick up a phone.
2. I wouldn't order an identical phone if I didn't like the one.
3. I have used the phone and it is far from unreliable.
4. It would take me a long time to find something similar.
5. I'm just about to register the 2 yr warranty.
It's a no brainier at the price that the selling is selling them for.
Three year old refurb HTC Ones are selling for more around £100 like hotcakes.

Thanks for you valued comments but I think I will give them a miss on this occasion.
But you have helped me make my mind up in regards to what to safely do.0 -

Glad we've helped; but since you made you're mind up before coming on here we obviously didn't change it.midimanuser wrote: »
