I do now spend a couple of days a week away from home so that's why I was thinking of lap top, but you are so right about keyboard, posture etc etc.
What is actually wrong with it? You might be able to fix it and bring it up to date.0 -

I don't know what is wrong with it. It started going ridiculously slow, like pausing about 3 minutes after every command. I tried virus check but it was too slow to even do that.
I decided to wipe everything and then reinstall software. My son saved all my documents and pics to a memory stick. Reloaded windows 10. I then put office 2013 back on it. Used the pc for about 2 days and it was just like a new pc again. It was lovely!!
Then, it just went funny again. Boot up but just gets to the Samsung screen and then freezes.
I can't remember if I accessed one of the files from the memory stick via USB slot. I'm wondering if there is a virus on the pc.0 -

A "SMART"disk drive checker would confirm but if the computer is unusable as is would have to take the drive out to test it. Know a computer friend who could do this for you?
And never buy an all in one again. Desktops are easier to fix, and laptops are at least portable. AIOs are simply a disaster waiting to happen.
Having said that, it might be worth having a professional look at it.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Have you considered a Chromebook?0
