The second-hand firm we use gets all their equipment from companies who are upgrading to newer kit. Thus you can get a decent business-quality fairly-new system unit or laptop for usually much less than half the new price.I wouldn't consider a second-hand one unless money was really tight. There's often a reason why the original owner wanted to part with it, not to mention all the body bits on the keyboard.0 -

Office work, Microsoft Office, Surfing, Editing photos, playing music and possibly watching the odd film.
I don't know where else to buy a laptop - have been looking at some refurbished ones on Ebay but I am nervous about this method.
