I know its a horrendous decision to make and one that has been thought of for a while so do so in the knowledge that you are doing what is best for him and thats what a good mummy does, even when its painful...hugs for you.

Aw P. he is gorgeous - what a stunner. Hope you find a wonderful new home for him. And well done on your plan!

Long day today up in the North East - in for an hour or so then off out to training with my little namesake. She needs it - guess who was out in the back field at 6.30 this morning trying to find an errant lurcher??? Dog trainer moi? Ha!

Thankfully found her in time to still catch my train but if ever there was proof of the truth of the saying never put off for today.... here it is. Who was it who had on her list to fix the fence yesterday?? And who instead sat on her lazy a**e all day?? Well I got my just deserts this morning (or should that be desserts?? I never know but desserts sound more tasty!)

Oops obviously time to think about dog proofing the garden then mizmir! (mind you so far as I know a lurcher is sort of the canine equivalent of houdini!)

sadly dragon yes i do. He has an awful lot of potential and with the right child could have so much fun. I am far to big for him and don't have anyone that i could use to back him for me and take him to shows. he wouldn't ever make a show pony despite his beautiful head and front end but would be a cracking little jumper (he jumped out of his field when he was 8 monhs old!! ) and would love to do pony club games etc. I am holding him back and i need to do something about it. he is also in the field on his own and relies on me for company. he needs to be with other ponies playing in the field and i can't afford to pay to have him at livery where there are others.

sometimes you just have to do the right thing and if you can't at that time give them everything that they want and need, no matter how much you may want to, you have to let them go.

Anyway, off to tesco for tea, mizmir i'll reply when i get back if ok. xx
