morning people!

joining everyone in the shattered camp today. i'm knackered!!!!

bit of a long day ahead sorting out a few cases, I have one absolute nightmare client that is doin me 'ed in so need to get that sorted to shut her up for a while... seriously. reminders of "we only have xxx days to exchange" sent every day! gah!!! Then I have a new case to submit and another appointment tonight so had best pull my finger out!!

Going to do some more job hunting today to but my mind is going more and more towards some temp work at the police HQ to see me through a while. with a little financial savyy i'm sure i can do it. can't wait til payday tomorrow to start some matched betting again!! that will all be going to the surplus pot and hopefully i'll be transferring money like no ones business!! I have also managed to get a lady who wants her dog looking after for a week in june and have negotiated £7 per day for that which will be a nice additional £56. so i'm going to set myself a target of raising £500 extra pounds by whatever means i can by the end of June... Watch this space!!!!

Eek, must dash to work - half asleep here as my back was playing up last night and ended up sleeping on floor to get comfy! Hopefully catch up more later xxx

Yep, i am fine, just busy getting ready to go away for a few days. That is providing i can kick their lazy asses into gear. You would think they would be motivated, but teenagers........they expect it all doing for them.( I probably did at that age too)
Are you just finishing off work commitments, then telling them to stuff it?

pretty much. I need to come to a decision on this new "offer" by next friday when we have a meeting. not convinced at all but sometimes it is better the devil you know...

Where are you off to then? anywhere nice? and yes, I was like that at that age too....

We are off to Cornwall to visit eldest daughter...can't wait. HAven't seen her since Christmas...feels like an age. she is married to a naval chap, and is at falmouth uni, she is only 21..and my baby.

Here now (thank goodness for flexi time), full of painkillers but actually feeling a bit better after my night on the floor! Can't have sore back, I've got to walk 20 miles at the weekend :eek:

So hmm this job thing, do you really want to have LESS interaction with people? I'd be very wary considering the way they've messed you about already - what if they change their minds again in a month's time?
