Hiya DFW hope you had a great weekend. i'm steering clear of the gelatine as much as i can. i really need to get into a "must loose weight" mind set. all of my clothes are becoming increasingly uncomfortable. may go to the gym tonight! yay! what have you been up to lately?
Hi I'm fine thanks. I too have suddenly realised summer is here and am starting to dread the lack of snuggly warm winter clothes to cover-up with. I'm so pale it's untrue, but fake tan just looks so wrong on me that I'm sorry everyone, I'll just have to blind you all with my exposed skin!
Had a nice weekend (love that extra day!), but am busy at work as a result. Glad to hear things are moving in the right direction with you - difficult time but exciting to think about the future too. xxDebt at highest Nov '06 £17,822.98

:hello: Hello
Gosh it's been a long time since i've posted on here. I think what with everything going on i wanted to concentrate on talking about someone other than me for a while and as such put my efforts to other diaries and threads for a bit.
Things in panialand are going good. I'm on the slimming world diet and following that as well as poss but seem to slip up every so often (aka not realising a pack of "healthy" snack-a-jacks were actually abhorrently bad for you!! i'm going to head off to the gym tonight for the first weigh in... watch this space! it's amazing how you can really get into it though and how meals that you previously thought of as healthy were actually anything but. don't think i have ever eaten as much salad or fruit in my life.. pinneeeeeappppplllleeeeeeeee mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm:drool:
Have started running again and sundays run felt sooo good to be back out there doing it and going for it. which brings me on to the next update...
The hospital scans were clear!!!:T :T which was fab news in many ways but still a tad frustrating as i don't have a clue what has caused the problem with the vision!!! I think I know what it is, when i run or drive or sit up for long periods of time my neck problem flairs up which causes it to get very stiff and i get the urge to stretch it very frequently. I'm wondering if as the muscles are getting tense they are putting pressure on a nerve that leads to the eye?Just a theory... The doctor wants me to have blood tests done but no way Jose are they getting a needle anywhere near this arm. if they want a pin cushion i know a good fabric shop they can just go buy one from instead...:o which brings me on to my next update....:D
Money!!!! (as this is DFW i suppose i'd best get money in there somewhere! ) well. things this month are going ok. with the aid of matched betting, and no trip to the cricket this thurs and £200 from the mum account i should be able to get through my lowest paycheck since i started with the company relatively unscathed.:T (and i had to tax my car, £101 eep.:o )
May pays commission has increased which is a relief and takes a weight off my mind. i still need to be careful but it will be easier. :T I just need work to stop pulling stupid stunts on me like making me drive 260 miles just to get me out of the house for the day. that munched on my petrol money and has made things even tighter than they would otherwise have been. ah well payday soon.
OH keeps putting in the odd appearance now and then, having a wee strop that I won't back down and going again.:o but all in all i feel fine about it and am concentrating on me for a while.
Right, well it's getting near worky time so i shall go do myself some breakfast (not sure what though) and then crack on with it, i have a feeling theya re going to send me out again today so need to get some admin done early doors so i can go out without worrying.
Have a good day everyone
Big hugs
P

:hello: Good to hear from you, wondered where you'd gone
Good news that your results are all clear but understand your frustration at the same time.
You sound extremely focused and positive re ex-OH as well, you are doing the right thing and seem to be taking some control back. Don't you find when you take control of money, diet, exercise etc everything kind of fits into place, or is that just me
Re the snack a jacks - I buy the pack of Jumbo ones and they only have 2.5 sins per portion and keep me going.Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -
nope thats not just you at all hon. it's a good feeling taking control and makes you feel more valid as a person.....
the diet thing is a "taking-control-in-progress!" but i seem to be doing ok. (never realised fruit juice could be bad for you!!:()
How are you? hope everything is going ok. *runs off to find jb's diary*:)
Good idea re the snack a jacks. i'm in the early diet mind set of sins=evil right now, must snap out of that! you need some bad stuff every now and then!!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Good to read pania......MOSTLY.
Oh dear!.........have to be heavy again and fully expect the usual crew to help by weighing in on this, too.
YOU MUST HAVE THE BLOOD TESTS DONE, PANIA - JUST TO ELIMINATE ANY/EVERY POSSIBLE THING.
Just call it pania's final tick on her personal MOT checklist.
I was like you, in needle hatred, but major event in life meant I had to have so many I simply lost fear/reaction/anticipation of pain, etc.etc. Ever since, it's a ho-hum and I simply look away - not from scaredy-cat thoughts, but simply to stop the visual thing kicking in.
Just do this one pania - you'll surprise yourself and boost your self-esteem by knowing you've coped well....and, of course, the spin-off is that Panias' On-the-Up Good News will be reinforced .
It's another bossy one, gal!
Have a good day, you're being strong and doing great things.I promise you, these days, blood tests are pretty much a nothing, needles are so fine. Ask phlebotomist to tell you when he/she's finished, then you don't need to see the phials being filled.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
