Waves at where the busy Pania was.....................
I've just had the most strange phone call-but good. 9Strange as I was asking for something I didn't think I had)
Over a year ago my dishwasher died-would start to fill-stop -and do nothing.
Been a good little DFWer (and never seeming to have enough spare cash for a "no idea how much" bill)-I switched to hand washing up-which I loathe. Anyway....a letter arrived on Saturday-looked a bit junkmail type and I nearly binned it without opening it. Thank goodness I didn't. It was a letter telling me my dishwasher cover plan was about to expire after three years and an invitation to renew. So I rang-turns out I'm fully covered for parts and labour !!!! DOH ! So engineer is coming next week to fix it-yay.
I never usually bother with coverplans so I guess it must have been included.
Very glad I opened that letter-No more sinkfuls of washing up-I can't wait !!I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Hello, hello, hello-very up beat today as flooring coming on a treat. Been thoroughly looked after by Mr.Bob-take it all back. Still in a bit of pain but nowhere near as bad-talking of which hope your eye is OK. Just a quick question what does PITA mean? Worked out most acronyms, but am a bit slow with that one. Hope day has been productive for you and great news on the budget front. You and my sis would get on really well as she is horse mad as well. We all have a love of animals in the family but she is up on the rest of us with 5 parrots, one cockatoo a budgie, dog and 5 rabbits. We nickname her Mrs Doolittle. Catch up later BobxBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

AFternoon all. Sorry you didnt get to the £25,000 P - can understand the dissapointment as I had simular last week with the 10,000 paid off....we'll get there (possibly when we're old ad grey and n longer able to leap about but sure we'll manage to bend arms in a celebratory tipple no matter how ancient we are!!) ... hope todays visit was fruitful & workified involving lots of extra cash?!!
Great news on the dishwasher duchy! Hello jellybabies - an oldie with a new name or a newby! Do post cos it helps you & its helps usHas dp's new toy arruved yet? Dont quite understand what it is? Can you explain? Off to sort cat jabs out - I did ring re the voucher but the price the vet (not my usual) was £15 more than the one I go to so will go with mine and for £28 each its not horrendous...

Good morning peeples...
from a rather tired miss P, took myself off to bed at about 2145 last night, much to OH's shock and amazement... "what you mean you're not sitting up unti midnight with me?" "erm... NO! i'm doing what I want to do and going to bed. goodnight!" or something along those lines anyhoo...
Right, erm, sorry, I have just gone into shock.........
I just googled "pictures of pony harnesses" so I could show ISOM a photo of the harness i have bought for DP. second website down was called "the other pony club".... lets just say it has nothing to do with ponies and everything to do with some very kinky leatherwear:eek:      :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I did NOT expect that in the slightest!!! thats quite put me off!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
right so i shall go back and try to find you a picture ISOM but take my sunglasses with me due to risk of sudden exposure!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:there you go thats better!!!! thats the type of harness that I have bought for DP, and you can teach them without the expensive bit at the back (aka the carriage!) to start with he'll enjoy it but i'll need to stand clear of his back legs to start with as because he can't see me he'll probably kick out at my voice instead as he won't understand whats going on. so, hat at the ready for that one!!
Well, yesterday, hmmm. you know i said i'd start leaving my card at home? seems i took myself a little too literally at my word...I headed out for a 2 hour drive in each direction with no card, no money, no drink, no food and only half tank of petrol!!! dearest beloved OH ( ) had retained my card after getting some money out for me the other day and forgotten to mention that he hadn't put it back in my handbag.. DOH!! DOH!! and DOH!! again for that one!!! Luckily i managed to find a bank with a blue cross and begged cajooled cried and bribed them into allowing me some money (hell it was payday so for once i knew i had some!!!:rotfl: )but all they would give me without ID was £40. so i managed to get fuel, get something to eat and drink, made it home with an empty tank but some money still in my purse, and duly put £2.50 change in my pig as soon as i walked through the door:rotfl:
I also managed to get bribed into shouting a take away last night, I'd been driving all day and didn't want to cook and the cupboard is looking a bit barren today to. Whereas i have a very small appetite and would quite happily have not eaten anything mr gargantuan appetite would not have been. Angry that i allowed myself to be talked into it, was very bad DFWness on my part but has strengthened my resolve!!! not again!!!:D
Got a letter from the hospital this morning... the first line on it?
"You failed to keep your appointment with dr xxx on thursday"
no i bloomin didn't!!! and the appointment they have sent through to me is for the time that i told them i could not do. so, another phone call to be made today.
Anyway I really must out into town as i have my welcome finance check to pay to them and blow them a raspberry on my way out, yeehaa!!!!
see you soon, apologies for the ramble.
Big hugs
P

Would it not be a simple, normal, caring thing for ANYONE with whom you shared dwelling space, who knows how long your day has been, to put a simple supper of any sort together?
And if any OH is SOOOOhungry, what prevents him/her obtaining/preparing food?

Morning A!! no, sadly i don't,:o being that coffee sends me into anaphylactic shock  and tea would be rather stewed by the time i came to drink it.. and hot choccie wouldn't strictly be considered very WW.. (mind you neither is redbull and that is what i seem to end up purchasing at the garage so the thermos may need to be revisited!!:D )
had to laugh out loud at summyweat. love the phrase!:D
How are you? good i hope? I drove past your way yesterday in a rather wet and rainy moment and did wonder then how you are doing. we must arrange a meet up again sometime.I had a good read of "footrot flats" the other day, isn't it funny!! :rotfl: thank you again. xxx

you really have hit the nail on the head and i know exactly what you mean, my eyes are opening wider and wider all the time as to what is going on. and, ampersand, don't you know, painting models is SOOOO much more important than feeding oneself....    thats left to the women of the family:mad:
But fear not, i am realising that there are some incredibly caring, compassionate, sharing, loving guys out there (;) ) and that may be influencing my future decisions somewhat.....debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Morning P... :rotfl: :rotfl: at you accidentally looking up kinky things! :rotfl:
Grr to OH - Ampersand is so right you know.. well, yes, you do know.. I know you know...
As for the travelling food - how about hot water in a flask and take tea bags with you? I have slightly wobbly blood sugar so always have some sort of cereal bars or something to munch on.. OH & his mates were much amused on Sunday when I kept producing food from my bag, strangely enough they didn't say no to eating some of it though
Anyways, hope you have a better day today - and get that appointment sorted!xxx

pania - you keep some teabags: nice Earl Grey/Lapsang/Chai/Lady Grey/Peppermint(try it even if you don't like it[you'll be surprised] all ready in your glove box. You'll also find the thing of stopping as and where you choose, rather than are obliged to if buying sth, gives a little lift. Have book with you, too.Live your signature, pania - I more than ever believe you need this now.
