Morning P... :rotfl: :rotfl: at you accidentally looking up kinky things! :rotfl:

Grr to OH - Ampersand is so right you know.. well, yes, you do know.. I know you know...

As for the travelling food - how about hot water in a flask and take tea bags with you? I have slightly wobbly blood sugar so always have some sort of cereal bars or something to munch on.. OH & his mates were much amused on Sunday when I kept producing food from my bag, strangely enough they didn't say no to eating some of it though  :D

Anyways, hope you have a better day today - and get that appointment sorted! ;) xxx

Yes, keeping/taking something out in car should be an autopilot thingie.
It matters not if it comes back in at end of day, but is a great curb on needless spending for prob. wrong sort of stuff.
Also, you can respond to the body's call for input immediately, which is better in every way.

Hope some of you are hearing Colette's Ch!ri on R4.
She was a wonderful writer and observer of l'!tat humaine, in an extraordinary, often awry, used, wonderful life.
Read works and biographies - of her and Katherine Mansfield(my compatriot)and Elisabeth von Armin(a KM cousin). All superb.

[maud] I feel that much of the world's sorrow comes from people who are *this*,
    I]she points to a daisy[/I
[maud] yet allow themselves be treated as *that*.
[she gestures to a field of daisies

    oh so very true.....

and this one may even be my new sig...

A lot of people enjoy being dead. But they are not dead, really. They're just backing away from life. *Reach* out. Take a *chance*. Get *hurt* even. But play as well as you can. Go team, go! Give me an L. Give me an I. Give me a V. Give me an E. L-I-V-E. LIVE! Otherwise, you got nothing to talk about in the locker room.

Yeah, actually I have to admit that cereal bars are generally not the most appetising of things, but they are handy, you could always try nuts, crackers, and ooh yeah cherry tomatoes - yum! (you know where you said 'pita' I thought for a minute it said pitta as in bread - food on the mind now! :o ). We went to London for the day, twas great fun :D

Ooh look forward to your PM - the suspense is terrible.... :p

    I like this one:

    Harold: I like you, Maude.
    Maude: I like you, Harold.

To me, liking has always been the more important thing(as opposed to too easily bruited 'love'and that, plus the word 'friend', is something I use sparingly.)
-and this is the bit I told mot about the other day, who hadn't heard of Harold and Maude.

    Harold: Maude?
    Maude: Yeah?
Harold: I]pulls the stamped coin from the arcade out of his pocket[/I Here.
    Maude: A gift!
    I]reads the engraving[/I
Maude: "Harold loves Maude."... and Maude loves Harold. This is the nicest gift I've received in years.
I]she throws the stamped coin into the water[/I
    Harold: I]gasps, bemused[/I
Maude: So I'll always know where it is.

  • Totally agree with all of the above. Sighs with depths of thought.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
