Hello BOB good to hear from you!!
I'm currently indulging myself in the NZ wicket keeper while OH is playing computer games... NZ are getting absolutely spanked but thats fine as more time to watch him!!!;)
Your easter sounds good. what flooring are you having? hope you are feeling better now. xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Hi and good to hear from you as well. The flooring is karndean-ooh how posh are we, black and silver with a beech border to match kitchen work tops and units. It is an insurance job from a flood we had at Christmas, but has cost a lot of money to have remedial joinery work done on doors etc. some of which we can claim some we can't-hey ho as they say. Been cr**pping myself a bit about it all because had to have car serviced, and birthdays etc and Mr Bob overspending so aaaaaah the list goes on. It will be nice to have it all finished though. I had to laugh because the leak came from having washing machine repaired which only cost £50 originally but he had pulled at cold water pipe and it slowly dripped, blew the laminate flooring, got into joints in sink unit and that collapsed-took the flooring up and found back door had leaked, and had a nice family of slugs and cockroaches-Mr b was well at home there!!Then the front door went, and we couldn't shut it so that had to be replaced as well-dear bl***y £50 that was. mr b upstairs watching cricket at mo, i am afraid it goes over my head but i do like those nice rugby players. Did you get any easter eggs? I have 1 but still feeling a bit off so will wait for a couple of days, had to have a bit of the lindt bunny though mmmm. No alcofrol for me either but copious cups of tea so life not all bad-think i should have it pumped into my veins -lol.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Morning all!!!
Sorry bob for bailing last night, I was falling asleep at my laptop so had to go to bed before i woke up and wasn't able to fall back to sleep again IYSWIM.
The flood sounds like a PITA to be fair, I hope the flooring gets sorted for you today.
So how many easter eggs did we all get? I got one from my sister but as i am watching my weight (it's the highest it's been in 6 years now, I have a good stone and a quarter to loose:o ) I asked mum for a waterstones voucher for a fiver instead. When we left yesterday she sneaked a fiver into my hand which i assumed was for just that. She has just text me telling me that she forgoot to give me the voucher and will post asap! feel guilty now as i never would've taken the fiver in the first place had i have known..:o Had the easter egg last night and it was good!!!:D
So financially I think i have £10.59 (plus my fiver:D plus £6.50 in my purse) I have petrol in my car (but not much food in the fridge) so all will be good until payday which is TOMORROW!!!!:j . I've put £20ish in my pig this month and i think he now has about £40 in him and I still have the money with mum. £15.55 to be withdrawn from bingo, and £100 tracking in quidco. so grand total towards oh-my-god-how-little-have-i-been-paid-and-oh-sh1te-i-also-need-to-tax-my-car april is £519.64 plus whatever i have that i can save this monthIs going to be a bug ger using it all and i should find out on the first what the situation is with contracts, I think we are switching over on the £1st april which would mean just under a full month at new salary which is good. and should mean i don't need all of that up there!:D But i won't bank on that until i know on the first so at the moment april pay is going to be stupidly tight.
Most people are probably saying "why are you looking at aprils pay already when you haven't even got March's yet?" Well what I claim this month commission wise is paid at the end of the following month, so i already know how april's pay is looking for me. it's handy as i can plan ahead but not so great as you spend a month worrying!!!I've spent £50 of my cheque and may well hold off on the clothes buying for now and save that £100 until I know the situation with the contract.
I bought the harness for DP in the end, it made sense, A driving bridle on it's own without reins is £36 whereas i got a complete harness for £49.50 incl postage. I feel guilty for this but i had to do something with him and as i decided selling him wasn't an option leaving him in the field and doing nothing with him is just cruel so it was a necessary expense to give him a new "job" to do.
well thats enough of me rambling on for now, I have some wrok to do, as i don't want to start the week on a backlog, then housework. OH is going out (:j ) so I have plenty of time to crack on and get stuff done all ready for a new working week starting tomorrow.
Have a good day everyone (hello ISOM hello Duchy!!)debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -

HI Squirrel!!! how you doing? nowt wrong with eating all your eggs, it removes temptation!!!:rotfl:
Very true!! Felt a bit bad as am on healthy eating kick (not gonna say diet cos if I do I feel deprived), can identify with the watching weight thing - I weigh the most I've ever done at the mo
Feeling shattered today - had a day trip to London yesterday (very DFW cheap coach fares) and got home at 4.30am!! Great day out though
How's the eye doing? Have you got a new appointment yet?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
