why don't you tell them that you're not fully content in your role and feel under utilised and looking at other options? would that boot them up the bum to get things moving do you think?

MmmmI love sweet potato-not sure about the cottage cheese though.
Bit messy moneywise this week. Overspent last week....I think-and lent some money out which I should have got back today but won't. TV licencing can't decide if they are taking me to court for not having a licence or if I've overpaid them.
Bought some concert tickets yesterday-will get the money back for the second one but it took most of the morning to book as it was a pre-sale. Ticketmaster had set a password-unfortunately the promotor hadn't sent the emails to anyone saying what the password was so an hour after they'd gone on sale not a single ticket had been sold. My msn was bursting with angry Osmond fans having heart attacks LOL Luckilly one of them (between heart attacks) came up with the right password by trial and error. Not a good way to start the day.
DS is now doing mornings only at school and has dropped 2 GCSEs-to ease his stress levels (if not mine having him home more ;) He dropped History and Drama so not big deal. He got an A* in the science one he took early last year so he's certainly capable just need to keep him working and calm for the remaining 7.
My head is going round and round as i try and find Aspergers friendly places as possibilities for A levels next year-in all honesty I can't afford for him NOT to stay on as my financial planning is based on still getting the at school stuff for another year but even if it didn't I'd still want him to take them.
Awww my head hurts-Off to do a bit of housework-working 4 til 7 then off out bowling with good friend's fella who is stuck down in London working this week and fed up with posh hotels so DS and I offered to thrash him at bowling. Can't really afford it -but may not have to ;)
EDIT Reason I'm not sure if I did overspend is can't find one of my bank cards so can't check internet banking. Keep putting off ringing them so I'm not disappointed when I get the balance ;)

Maybe... part of the problem is getting an opportunity to do that, we're supposed to get yearly appraisals but nobody's had one in our office for about four years. I do have a few ideas to put to my boss though, and we've got a few meetings coming up where this little squirrel will be speaking up lots! :o

ps on the general food topic :D.. I tried a bit of a detox diet a while back and two of the things you could have were sweet potatoes and goats cheese, got quite addicted to that combination.. mmmmmmmmmm :p

Blimey hon, you sound like things are hectic right now, if you want to off load give me a call for a natter, it''s good that DS is doing well in school and if he has to drop two to keep it going then atleast he is recognising that fact and sorting it out. what sort of radius have you investigated for schooling, isn't the one half way up the pensinsula pretty geared up for all that kinda stuff? the one with the 100 pupils, wink nudge, not sure whether travel would be an issue but may be worth a look at.
saw you're photo on facebook, you're pretty much as i'd imagined actually:D

hi thought i'd check back in, had a couple of computer free nights which was actually good for me. Looks like i may have the opportunity to get some overtime, will be really interesting as i have lots of my own work to do and i've been staying till 5.30 - 6.30 for a while and i'm not sure when i'll fit the overtime in, but it's MONEY! Will come in handy as it looks like i'll be funding the organisation for my travel etc when i start the the new job. They have a policy of paying after one clear month so it could be 2 months between incurring the debt and getting the money back. My managers thoughts are "people have credit cards so should use them and they'll get it back". Guess the words, not a clue do apply here!

Thats stops it melting to the packet but it will just melt into the one behind instead wont it?

Well since the heat comes from outside, the sponge will insulate it.

But think of it this way - where would you rather the chocolate stuck to:
    1. Another cake, which you are going to eat anyway.
    2. The packet which you're not...

Of course some Jaffa expert will be along to tell us we're all wrong...

And how do you get it interest free for that length of time?
