Thanks guys. The secured/ unsecured analogy is a good one... I'm gonna make a final decision tomorrow. I have to ring them tomorrow so I may see if I can rearrange the interview, but I think I'd be better off hanging on for something that suits me better (whilst trying to make a few moves to improve things where I am). I do want to move on career-wise but the whole work/ life balance thing is important as well. This fixed term post would be good for experience I think but wouldn't benefit me financially at all, and because of the debts etc I can't afford to be without work at the end of a contract for any time at all. How different things would be if I had savings instead of debt!

Have a good one at the gym P!! x

I have my £100 barclays money and £13 in alliance and leicester but i am so scared of touching this money but i know i am going to have to. If I don't start getting some stuff out of my pipeline this month then I am going to be knackered for april big style, so loads of additional money making measures coming up!!!!

Hi folks, hi redsquirrel - I think Pania's hit the nail on the head with the reversal of the secured/unsecured for the job market, thats a great analogy, Pania. Still, you *will* do what's best for you all round, I'm sure.

And.... as far as the great chocolate debate is concerned, my vote is that in hot weather the choccie won't melt onto the plastic....

    I agree...on both counts...

Hello people, have got a migraine rapily heading (lol) mu way so going to make it a quicky, no smutty comment please Zed.:D Think i pushed it to far at the gym and have suffered a little bit of through the roof blood presure. marathon training going good thanks guys, just need to listen to my body more and be awar eof my limits so i don't end up as now with a wee bit of a headache....

ANyway, I need a DFW confessional, Lost my parking ticket and very VERY begrudgingly had to pay the security guard 24 hours parking which is £6.60. walking back to my car, I found a parking ticket laying in the way, defiantely not mine as the entry time was about an hour later than when i had gone it, but i took it to the security guard and got my £6.60 refunded....:o

So apologies to the person that I caused to spend £6.60 getting out the car park, but us DFW's have to take our chances when we get them:rotfl:

Right, I'm going to lay here in the dark watching the delectable brendan mccullum wallop the english cricket team to win the first test. and rest my little head.. OH hates that I don't support england, causes a little friendly infighting here and there!!!:rotfl:

    Have a good evening all...
