Morning all!!!!! Welcome to a sunny but chilly saturday..

Busy day in store for me today but first a wee catchy uppy...

Had news from abbey yesterday that they had removed the default on realising it was an error on their behalf... They are now considering the question of compensation for the distress caused by me thinking i was going to loose my job due to the conditions of my employment, Couple that with the charges they incorrectly added to my account the manager thinks there is a good chance they will operate a "wipe the slate clean" policy, write off the amount they say is owing and open a new account for me to use.... That would be best case scenario....
Worst case will be that I still have about £500 they'll say i owe but i've told her I will only accept this if they reinstate the account plus overdraft so I can pay it off as a standard overdraft would be...

But just to know that I've proved one of the big boys wrong is a great feeling right now.

However I've checked my credit rating and my credit score has gone down since i checked it in December.... would've thought it would've gone up....
Wondering if a link to OH through a mortgage aip last year is doing it? I may write to Equifax and get them to remove him as an associate as i've been so careful not to have us linked in any way. I would've really expected my score to have gone up by now.

Well bit of a busy day ahead, just finishing a letter off to drop into town shortly and take that book back to waterstones (I will not buy another I WILL NOT!) then gym then walk DP etc etc.. best get moving!!!!!

    Have a great day everyone...

Well done on sorting the Abbey out! (and I hope you get the wiped clean option!) - yes do check Equifax/Experien and get OH taken off - my Sis was on mine at one point and when she was taken off my scoring soared!
