I'm fine just been busy with training for the new job. Training finishes tomorrow (although we're already taking real calls-heaven help em) then off to the airport after my shift finishes at 9pm-got a pricelined hotel at heathrow so I don't have to catch the 5am train the next morning and off to Chicago Saturday morning-average temps are minus 11 eeeeek ! Trying to work out how many layers I can fit into hand luggage.

Don't be daft-I know it's akin to giving one's first-born away-no problem-you take as long as you like to decide the pace and how you want the investigations of possibilitities to be handled. I have no problem with it and neither will H.

That's good to hear - sounds like you're much happier already.

  • Just catching up - had a busy week & so have you by the look of it! As for the ym I did exactly the same today!! £40 joining fee but its 29 a month wth olympic pool (which thankfully they chop into manageable 3 pools when i will go!!), gym (not as enthused as you!) but even better sauna & jacuzzi!! Chilling. Yahoo!! Very DFW me thinks and we do need to have a balance or we'll go nuts - plus excercise is good for the soul! Not allowed to run for a bit due to knee so will swim instead! Good that DP getting feisty!! Obviously feeling a bt better for the plods! Hope the finances improve & will sponsor you when I can but teh £79 they asked for up front has put a dent in for a couple of weeks! ahhh!

Hiya ISOM, dash it missed you again, like ships in the night us to, and you SW!!
Glad to hear you are both well, although ISOM, whats with the knee? nowt too bad i hope, fantastic to meet a fellow gym goer, I don't have a pool at ours but a sauna and steam room which is fab. I agree about needing the balance, and i guess you're the same whereby if you are in the hgym atleast you're not spending money elsewhere, my craving for drinks of a sugary caffeinous nature is also disipating...
Right i must head off up the apples and pears to bedfordhire. longer chat tomorow i hope.

    Night all. xxx

ok, So today a new payday dawns....:j

Have just checked on On-Line Banking and it was a little lower than I was expecting by about £14. Nothing major. I've readjusted the budget and I have just over £150 left for the month, But that is AFTER budgetting for the gym membership and start up fee of a tenner plus a night out Saturday night in Kent. ;)

I still have the £400 with Mum so that should help tide me over in February/end of March's pay.:T (takes the pressure of a bit i assure you!) My aim is to get through this month without touching any of that at all.:o He himself owes me a tenner to so that should help.
Saturday night I have budgetted £50  however I am planning on not drinking and therefore coming in hopefully at £30 rather than £50, it is alot for a night out but wanted to budget for worst case.

My redbull consumption has been much lower over the last few days since the fitness kick crept in so that should save me, oh, about £200 a month!! :rotfl: He he only kidding but was eating up quite alot of money per month.

So Pania's february challenge, £20 per week spends.:o the money will be taken out today, the card "deposited" somewhere in the house. what I have been doing this month, (and it is very naughty) Is thinking "Oh i don't have enough in my purse, oh well i'll use my card instead.". Bad Bad BAD!!!! also can't remember the last time i had an NSD, must put my eye back on the ball, particularly in these current climes with work.

Well it is still dark, and I am just off up to take DP for a stroll, back to looooads of work today as i have been out the last couple of days and have a bit to catch up on....:o

    Toodles for now!!!:D
