up relatively bright and breezy today, having an internal arguement about whether to peg out washing (how sad is that?)

Going to get tackling the other half of my to do list which involves a long job of creating some scrapbooking, which will be enjoyable. Other than that don't have anything else on today. Have decided to put church on hold for today, too much to do today at home.

Hello my lovely lovely diary, I'm sooo sorry for neglecting you this weekend, it's been manic and have spent most of my time on the PM board!!

Anyway, back now. Have had a lovely weekend really, spent most of it gassing on skype which has made me smile:D :D

Took DP for a lovely long stroll yesterday and was sad that his back leg is quite bad at the mo, and can only be made better with exercise and increased body condition so the muscles can support the joint and stabilise it. so today starts operation DP. The dog walking hasn't "started" yet so it's up at 0700, iron the shirt, out the door and walking with DP by 0745. brrr chilly wet and rainy but needs must. I still need to rehome him as he needs a little kid to love and cherish him and have fun with him, but this thing at Amersham with the 86 horses has scared the bejesus out of me, some of those poor poor animals were once someones much loved pet that changed hands to someonewho didn't care enough to make sure they were ok. If DP ever ended up n that situation i'd be devastated. what to do what to do what to do!!!!:o

Off to the gym for a freebie workout tonight, await posts of tomorrow consisting entirely of ow ee oo yeow ouch argh!!!!! really looking forward to it actually. I'm going to sign up actually, it's £28 something per month and some people would say pay it off the debt but i spend precious little on myself so feel i can maybe justify it on that basis:o and while i'm spending hr 1/2 int gym every night i'm not out spendin money any place!!!:o

not much dfwing being done at mo, can't do anything until friday! must try harder next month P!!!!! right off up the field now. chat soooooooon!!!!:D
debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!

    Hi P!

that sounds a nice walkies up the field. Totally understand your worries re the Amersham thing - I tried not to watch it, to be honest. Tho, on the good side - did you see the clip of the donkeys at Redwings (? the RSPCA place?) - anyway, there were two donkeys that had a two month old foal, and they kept pushing inbetween the RSPCA/camera people and the foal, it was absolutely beautiful. And the foal itself was pretty timid. Tho a foal that was born to donkeys that had also been in that hellhole but born at the sanctuary (and so was only 4 days old) was completely unafraid of humans. Time will heal the ones in pain, to some extent anyway, everything those people at the sanctuary can do will be done, I'm sure.

    Hope you're doing well otherwise.

    xx

You can't take the possibility of an incident like that and allow it to dominate your thinking. Alas DP *needs* someone to train him and ride him, while something Amersham-like is just a tiny risk.

Have you thought about leasing DP out for a peppercorn amount? The recipient pays for food/vet etc, but doesn't have a capital outlay, while you retain title to him and have the ability to bring him home.

Well it depends on how many times you use it per month for your £28. Good intentions and all that... ;)
