Just had a good vent on another forum at a silly biatch who thought my friend should take legal action "if" she felt evidence had been falisified and she "was sure she'd get legal aid" My god-what planet do these people live on-don't they know if you work -even as a single parent on a reasonably low wage you can't get legal aid. This world isn't going to change until the middle classes remove their heads from up their backsides and get themselves educated in what it is like to live in the real world !!!! Sadly it is those same middle classes these judges are drawn from in the local courts.
(Ooooooooh I feel better for that !! :D)

Case was held today-his (and his solicitors) word against hers and he LIED -came up with a photo of the flat trashed-aparently the tenant before my friend was an alcoholic and had to be evicted-we can only assume the photo came from then-He claimed that it was a recent photo taken after my (very timid) friend moved out. The judge believed him-the solicitor had the GALL to suggest my friend be summonsed for making a false claim <!!!> which the judge wasn't having any of BUT-told her she had to pay his petrol expenses to court !!!! I am SO angry-what gives these lowlifes the right to behave like this ?????

*Always* take a photo of that day's paper in the middle of your house when you move out - it stops any of this kind of nonsense.

A landlord like that will do it time and again until caught out.

It's called the Criminal Justice System - because that's who gets the justice.

    hello Z, you ok?

I completely agree to that. in my previous career we arrested a guy coming out of a social club with the till tray. he got off at court because a post it note that the DC had written on wasn't provided as evidence. How bl00dy stupid is that!

Well I had a thought about these "getting off on a technicality" cases and decided the courts should automatically issue injuctions against people doing something similar again. So when he's caught somewhere else theiving, he gets the usual "say six hail mary's" for that and 6 year's imprisonment for breaching the injunction.

Of course giving "normal" people such an injunction is not going to affect them one iota, and since the injunction is against criminal behaviour, there's not really any reasonable grounds to dispute it.

But if they were effective against crime, they'd be out of a job - so they're not.

Good idea, so long as the courts didn't do something stupid like bail them and expect them to come back!!I think provided the idea was supported by al elements of the CJS then it would be sucessful but on many occasions the police feel that they are pulling on their own and no one else, especially the courts gives a hoot.
