    It was a question, thought that was obvious.
    "You have the right to cancel your contract with ScS within 14 days following on from the day that you or your chosen third party acquires physical possession of your products, or physical possession of your products, or;

    physical possession of your last product, if you have ordered multiple products in a single order which are being delivered separately, or
    physical possession of the last piece or lot of a product, if your product consists of multiple pieces or lots.
    Your cancellation period expires after 14 days from whichever of the above applies to you.

    During this 14-day period you can cancel your contract at any time, without giving us any reason for doing so.

    To exercise your right to cancel, please inform us as quickly as possible of your decision to cancel your contract in a clear statement by letter, email or fax. It’s important to bear in mind that if you wish to cancel your contract, you are responsible for demonstrating you have done so. We always recommend you use a traceable postage method or setting a ‘read’ receipt on your email to avoid any queries.

    Please make sure to send your letter, email or fax exercising your right to cancel within the 14-day cancellation period to ensure that we are informed of your decision to cancel your contract."

    So according to SCS from their own cancellation policy. You need to wait until you take delivery of the sofas before you can cancel.

    I think that's the section of the website that refers to online orders, isn't it? I really struggled to find a page that stated the in-store cancellation rights.

    It helps if you post the whole thing, not just selected snippets. The page you've quoted begins with:

    "This Cancellation and Returns Policy only applies if you made your purchase with ScS online, over the telephone and via our website. If you have placed your order in one of our stores, please refer to the Terms and Conditions on the reverse of your order form."

    I couldnt see the picture i posted so i pasted it in instead.

    Within that specific section of the policy, it doesnt mention online or in store orders.. So maybe it applies to all orders regardless. Maybe a route worth going down and challenging them over it

    Can you post a link to that page? You may be onto something if it isn't clear.

    I probably read it wrong as only whizzed through it so think you were right

    However, here is a link where someone did manage to cancel their in store order. Few years old but if the OP keeps pushing, they may be successful

    The OP could state in writing that at no point was he informed that he had no right to cancel, that he had assurances from the sales rep that it would definitely fit and wing it a bit saying he felt rushed into signing or whatever. If he really wants his money back, then its worth a shot

    Except that’s not really what happened, and OP was at great pains to say

    “I am genuine and honest”. Twice.
