Well done TTD. Glad the damage limitation worked.poundsinbucks wrote: »Nice loss TTD, well done!
Checking in after WI with a 1.5lbs loss after my holiday. Happy with that, stayed on plan foodwise, but didn’t move much apart from swimming but no daily dogwalk which I guess has an impact. Soooooooooo back to it, as I still want to shift a few stones.
This morning was so nice and now it is piddling it down with rain again boohoo. Hope it gets better tomorrow.

Well done poundsinbucks. That's a great loss especially as you had a holiday.

Thanks Bubbs for asking but everything went t*ts up yesterday afternoon. Got a phone call from the Dr's surgery saying I had to go to see the Dr that evening at 5pm. By 6pm I'd gobbled down my dinner and was on the way to hospital as my BP was too high and my calcium levels were out of the top end of range.
Was up the hospital around 7pm and didn't leave until 3am this morning:eek: and had to go back again this morning by 8.30am so was on the road at 7.15 this morning. Finally got home about 6.30pm having left the hospital around 5.30pm!
Had bloods taken & ECG by around 10am and then sitting around for a couple of hours before seeing a Dr. He's told me to stop one of my BP tablets and I had to have fluids by IV.
I then sat around for another hour before finally getting the IV fluids which took 4 hours of sitting around - have never been so bored in my life, hadn't expected to be there so long today.
Then sat around for a while as the Dr couldn't find a room to see me in! So more sitting around until he found a room where he took some more bloods which had to go to the lab immediately as need to be tested within 20 minutes which was why he didn't ask the nurses to do them!
I now have to go back again at 8.30am on Thursday morning so won't be able to get to my usual group - no idea how long I'm going to be there as depending on the results of the bloods I may need to have another IV of some drug to reduce my calcium levels which will probably take an hour to go in.
So today's plan has been completely out of the window as all I could get in the hospital was white bread! but at least I had Free fillings:rotfl: - egg mid morning and ham lunchtime but certainly blown my Syns!
Think I'm probably going to miss group this week even though I'd originally planned on going.
Anyway that's enough of my problems!
I'll be back tomorrow as usual as I think the only thing I need to do is some shopping which I'd planned on doing today - unless there is a problem with the last bloods and I get a phone call to go in tomorrow:eek:
Denise
Oh Blimey Denise!!
What's caused your calcium to be so high?

Think it was the new BP tablets my GP gave me about 6 weeks ago. That's why I had to have a "routine" blood test at my local hospital as it was a possibility that they would raise my calcium levels as I'd been on a similar type of tablet before which did exactly the same thing!
Funnily enough the consultant at the hospital I went to today doesn't think that's the likely cause but the junior doctor I actually saw agrees with me and my GP that it looks the most likely scenario.

Hi all,
I haven't read back, other than this page.
Denise, I hope you get sorted soon. I think the hanging about and the sense of disorganisation (even if it's not) makes everything worse.
Delighted to see you, beanie.
As ever, I want to move in with bubbs, for her lovely food.
I've been at the hospital too this week. I saw doctor a fortnight ago about a recurring problem ( happens about every 5 years, lol), was at hospital yesterday, no hanging about while there, thank goodness. Consultant said I'd need a minor procedure (which I expected) and I should get it done in next couple of weeks. Phone call today to go in on July 2. Can't complain about waiting time.
I have lost a little weight since last I popped in, so that's better than a gain. I will try to be back in again sooner rather than later.
Good luck everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
