Its worth giving GHD a call/email. I had a pair of straighteners went kaput just outside the 2 year window. I sent a very nice email to GHD asking what could I do, they offered a repair, the only cost to myself was the postage. They contacted me after 2-3 weeks stating they couldn't repair them so would replace them with the current model, so I cant fault their customer service.
My friend however tried the same thing and was told they were outside warranty so wouldn't do anything.
I suppose it is just down to the customer service rep you get through to.Mortgage = [STRIKE]£113,495 (May 2009)[/STRIKE] £67462.74 Jun 20190 -
